In August 2000 I ended up by chance in Costa Rica, 3 weeks of which in Samara. There was absolutely nothing and no one. It cast a spell on me and still to this day I often dream of those times I spent there wishing I had remained. I hope it is still as magical as it once was. Pura vida siempre..........

@@TheDufresnes haha, just thankful there wasn’t a wind!! We are planning a trip to Costa Rica in early 2022 and would like to stay at Sea Casa for the first week. Just curious, did I see in one of your past videos that you would arrange a shuttle to meet your guests at the Liberia airport? We aren’t planning on renting a car.
Ya no kidden the wind chill is terrible. Awesome, yes we arrange private shuttles for people that will pick them up from the airport and will bring them directly to our place and we can also arrange shuttles within country when people travel to other destinations. Prices vary on where you land as well as where you go in country.

Actually, I just realized the date and it would be exactly one year ago this week that we randomly bumped into you on the streets of Samara! We’ve been doing much research since to plan our move in 3-4 years. :)
I'm a Vancouver bc Canadian also. After watching these family videos in samara ;I'm now keen on visiting samara beach instead of usual city inkand trip . Gracias amigos.

Is the humidity high there? I'm looking for an alternative from Panamá. Heat is one thing but having heat plus high humidity is quite unbearable for me. Thank you.
It's not as bad in the Guanacaste Province as others especially in dry season

What's the weather going to be like where you live in mid October?
@@TheDufresnes we live in Atlantic Canada in the Annapolis Valley. Days can be between 15 c and 22c degrees nights are about 8. It Canada be sunny one day and rainy for the next four days.
Same here, the weather is not predictable. This is a question we get asked daily and we just need to let people like yourself know that it's no different here. Weather is weather.

We had a very rainy may to August and now it's been a lot drier just to give you an example of how it's always different here too
