Tom doesn't care if you don't agree with everything he says in his songs. He just wants to get people talking and not afraid to say that they disagree. Everyone is so afraid to give their opinion or listen to anyone else's opinion these days. People in other countries used to say "Americans are so opinionated" but somehow the system has everyone afraid of being targeted or cancelled, so very few speak up about things that are important to them that are going wrong. We have to move past that and give our opinions freely again. No one should be afraid to share their opinion in America. Suppressing differing opinions is what dictatorships do, not Americans. And the hook on this is fire.

Dope song that is honestly needed today. There's too much uncommon sense these days and agendas that go against the values that America was built on. People are too afraid to talk, to make their thoughts known. People get offended so easily without considering the substance of what is being said and the absurdity of their own stances. We can't even say Merry Christmas anymore without some fear of being called out. America has culturally changed, and not for the better. Gone are the days of American pride, which while understandable to a certain degree, is also sad to see. This is good positive rap which I can get behind as it brings up issues that have negatively affected society. Even Ben's perceived diss on Lizzo is commentary on the unhealthy acceptance of not being healthy. There is a lot to unpack from this song.

I know its a cultural thing but American music sounds too polished , too synthesised, too profit driven for my taste . Im a boomer and when i was young Aussie bands that made it big in America were bands that your Mum or Grandma might like . For example LRB big in America while in Oz they weren't top shelf . Their fans often also liked ABBA , Boney M or the Village People and mistakenly thought they were listening to Rock . Meanwhile our own favourites , Cold Chisel, The Angels , The Saints etc hardly made a ripple . The ears want what the ears want .
Facts should be #1 on UA-cam but Universal Studios are too butt hurt to allow UA-cam show the FACTS and let them be top on their mainstream platforms 🤦🏽♀️.

The funny thing is, Tom doesn't say anything remotely offensive in this song. It's just the same tired BS he's been peddling since the start of his career. The repetition and lack of anything actually insightful is mind-numbing. Even weirder is that the guy's not even from the USA, he's Canadian. Acting like some ultra Maga wannabe while spouting his lame, unoriginal and frankly cringeworthy "Rhymes" is so hard to witness as someone with more than a couple of braincells. His wife Nova used to be awesome! Her early stuff was really original and definitely worth a listen!
