There is so much to learn in this game it's crazy. I started playing DCS with SU-25 and a MIG-29 and I thought it was hard. Now I'm learning the F-16 but there are a heck of more to learn to be effective.
For me is very difficult,almost impossible to target during flight.I have to set the game in active pause mode,set everything and the desired target,and the unpause the game and shoot.Otherwise i have to make a hundred passes over and around the target.
Are you using TrackIR or any other head tracking software? It's a lot easier when you don't have to use the mouse to move your head around the cockpit.
I'm gonna try once again, I hold weapon release the cursor moves down but the bombs simply don't detach and the vertical line is aligned. I've tried so many times.
After releasing the bombs,do you have to hold the fire laser key until the bomb impacts or do we just shoot the laser once and forget about it? The bombs drift very far from the point i wanted it to be.

If I go below that in this particular mission I get shot at him shot down. It's very discouraging
It’s the right hand side when you’re looking at the armament window because you are looking at the plane nose on. When you are flying your perspective is reversed so right becomes left.
@@JustChasingRainbows It's actually exactly opposite. The pod is on the right side from pilot's perspective. Also the pylon is called 5R. What I usually do is a slight left turn and then a long arc to the right. This way I circle around the target without obstructing the tpod's view. Probably not a real procedure but works for me.
hey i have this problem with the targeting pod and its kind of hard to explain but ill do my best and you did not cover this in your video about the targeting pod but anyway so what happens is when i press down to re-cage the targeting pod it will look only in one direction so say if i went over a target and the pod was working fine looking where i wanted it to and if i re-caged it while flying in a specific direction i could easily slew it back to the target but if i flew over the target and turned around and then re-caged the targeting pod after turning around it will re-cage to a position looking behind the aircraft and it takes forever to try and slew the targeting pod to look towards the front of the aircraft why is that its really irritating and i wish i knew how to make it so that the targeting pod will simply unlock from the ground and follow wherever the plane looks until i press up for it to lock on to area or point then it will stay locked to one position on the ground

I was wondering, since you dropped the GBU-10s in pairs... Will the bombs converge to eachother during their fall, as they are guiding themselves to the same laserspot. Would there be a chance of setting eachother off during that fall in real life? (It’s very likely no factor in the sim though...). Also, you really did not like that guy in the hummer, did you? A whole lot of overkill, 2 mk84s...😂

Yup easy one. You are either too fast or too low, or both. Try it at 300knots at 20k ft, just a tiny bit of turn. Will work fine. You are exceeding limits of your TPOD.

I can't get my bomb to drop, I'm holding wep release 9s before drop, when t approaches 0 it just goes up to 20 and the bomb doesn't drop. Does anyone know what I'm doing wrong?
how do you reset the CCRP aiming point (the square box) ... i feel like I am chasing it all around to try and acquire it again for another target run. Has to be a way to recenter it to your HUD right?

It's not how good or bad you are at the game, It's more about your attitude. Look inward and work on yourself rather than trying to prove yourself to others.

If the Tpod is on the right side of the aircraft, wouldn’t a crank to the right make more sense? What am I not getting here? ;/
Because if you crank right, your aircraft will block the FOV of the pod because your left side will be front of said Tpod

Neg I just use Keyboard RDR now. Will investigate.
I use the axis control on my warthog. Works just as good as it does on the A-10C.

Yes they converge and sometimes even collide mid air!
