Hey guys, first I just want to say that this took a while to make (if it wasn’t obvious from the runtime) and I think that it turned out well for my first movie length video. Up until this point, the iPhone and iPod collection video had the longest runtime at 53:34 (not even an hour). Recording was done in multiple parts but I now know that it really helps out to film in a shorter amount of time. Basically have less of a gap in between filming, at the very least it helps me out with the timeline of events. Editing also took a while and with what I want to improve in terms of filming, it should make editing and in turn the video much more refined. That being said, I wasn’t even expecting this to be an hour long, let alone an hour and 30 minutes! It’s been a fun challenge though and hopefully longer videos will continue! Thanks for staying with me, hopefully you enjoy watching this awesome iTunes Setup continue to evolve! This is only the start, more cool things to come! Also, I know that this is more of a late 2000s/early 2010s setup with the MacBook, but in terms of the G5 area, it is one step closer to having a modern futuristic Y2K era setup.

Congrats on creating a great video. Creating a video like this is no easy task. It has given me the inspiration to break out some ipods and get my old apple computer from the pile and get it going! Well done.

Thank you! I really appreciate it and I’m glad you enjoyed it! I never expected it to be such a long video but I’m happy with how it turned out. The setup is looking really cool but there’s so much more I can’t wait to do! That’ll be fun, iPods alongside old Macs are great! Good luck with that, there’s also been a lot of development with software to keep old Macs going, not to mention all the old software/games that still works great even today!

I have a Quicksilver G4 with the 4:3 version of the Cinema display. Unfortunately, my original power supply died in the G4, and I'm using a hacked ATX power supply in it right now, so I can't power the Cinema display from it. I need to get one of the adapters for it sometime, or manage to find a correct replacement power supply for the G4.

Nice, the Quicksilver is an awesome system and the 4:3 version is cool to have! Sorry to hear you can’t use ADC directly due to the power supply situation, but at the very least the G4 is usable. It might be easier to get the official ADC adapter, at least then it can also be used with other systems.
