- Here are the top 4 FPV simulators on the market. This is a non-professionals review. I am a regular amaetur pilot, who does not know how to tune.
Tryp - most realistic to real life, best proportions
Liftoff - most challenging to fly on, lots of fun levels to fly
DRL - easiest to fly on (extra floaty), most creative level designs, biggest levels to fly
Velocidrone - best flight feel, good graphics
Thanks for the vid, really helped me in picking my first drone sim game
Awesome, no problem! Which did you go with to start?
i used drl for about 100hrs now haven't flowing irl but hoping its similar
It will be. If you discipline yourself to fly low & slow for like 10 batteries in a row, youll pick things up easy. Take that approach and in like 2-weeks youll be doing some of the cool stuff that you do in the SIM. The fear of crashing will be what holds you back the most but after you get stuck in a tree, and repair 4-5 drones, youll start to have the confidence to do that crazy stuff you really wanna do. Have fun!
Tryp is also the best realistic Simulator for me.
Thank you for your review
Good review. Thanks. Although something is not right with your sound recording. Only coming out of the left speaker.
Thank you for pointing that out, I only now noticed, ill make sure the next upload has proper audio.
I have to be honest man, not trying to be mean but.. you say you have 300 hours on liftoff and then you show flying like this. Like I know talking and playing is hard but you could comment over some better footage if that is the reason for it. That level of flying doesn't really inspire a lot of confidence in your opinions. If anything it might scare off more people than inform; if that amount of time investment doesn't result in at least decent skills, might as well not even try.
Yeah. Hard to believe those are 300 hours of flight time. Maybe he leaves the sim running during the day while he does stuff around the house.
@@dinkyemg I'm like 15 hours into Tryp, most of the progress came from getting used to the control scheme because I was used to flying in video games, but also setting rates that weren't too twitchy. An hour or two at least of that is accidentally leaving it on and I've had a friend buzz around for about an hour. And I fly about as well..
Great video, but my friend.... "funnest"? CRINGE. Please use the proper "more fun"... improves the quality of your speaking/text SO much better! Cheers...
