Funny, I've just taught myself to putt using that 'feeling' of forward momentum then backswing then hit through. I'm taking this onto the course today for my driver. Thanks.
I really enjoy watching how the varied students process Dr Kwon's instruction and the transformation of freeing up their golf swing through use of ground forces. The movement appears so much more dynamic rather than attempting to hit specific checkpoints in the club path. I'm doubling down on the drills because I've lost the athleticism in my swing and hence distance and accuracy.

Are you supposed to load the weight on the left foot before you kick and turn? Or are you immediately kick and turning after you've recentered?

exactly the same and yes it works. he's teaching you proper weight shift that doesn't change other then you don't have to make as big of a turn with irons.

Go have a lesson yourself and see if you swing faster over time. Changing a movement pattern isn’t done in a 10 min video. Hence it only make send to focus on speed when changes are ingrained. Speed comes by itself.
Why not showing trakman’s numbers before and after?

No. Watch the most recent video. Arms have to have a well timed swing

Rhythm and flow baby it goes wrong when you fight how your body generates this power. The trick is to find the razors edge between as fast as you can w o losing balance and swinging it like your Thor swinging his axe 😂

The “Stage 3 Drill” has merit is so far as gaining the feeling of weight transfer from front foot to back foot. As a reference to Ben Hogan many have described his takeaway backswing as a “reverse pivot” but it most certainly IS NOT. WITHIN Hogan’s first move away from the ball obviously he begins by swinging the club head away, but within that initial first move away Hogan also NATURALLY transfers some weight to his front foot. By the time Hogan has his left forearm parallel to the ground during the backswing he now begins to somewhat RAPIDLY now transfer his weight to his right foot. What then happens can be described as “the rapidity and amount of force transferred INTO the right foot = the rapidity and amount of force transferred OUT OF the right foot. In other words, the rate and amount of force with which you exert upon the right foot is the equal amount of both rate and force the right foot will REBOUND with. Or, force in = force out. Hogan had a wonderful REBOUND transfer of weight off his right foot. Why? Because Hogan knew how to DELAY the initial weight transfer from his left foot to his right foot by use an initial forward weight shift which he essentially held in place until he was ready to load that weight RAPIDLY and FORCEFULLY into his right foot. This rapid Hogan weight shift was completed just before Hogan went into his top of backswing transition.
Now ask your self why you don’t have a good REBOUND off of your trailing foot? Because you slowly begin to transfer your weight to your back foot throughout the entire backswing. Therefore you do not get that aggressive REBOUND effect off of your back foot, and never will. Hogan was able to control his weight shift until the last possible moment and then quickly allowed his weight to “get back” which then allowed him his wonderful and powerful REBOUND of weight off of his right foot.
Bottom line: Hogan was in complete control of ever aspect of his weight shift and never would allow his weight to transfer to his back foot to build slowly. That allows for to much inconsistency.

@@arjanpetersen ….. When attempting to transfer your weight as I explained Hogan did, add in a “faster” backswing. Most amateurs have slow back swings because they have slow weight shift. Practice a faster backswing when attempting to transfer your weight rapidly such as Hogan. Hogan DID NOT have a slow backswing at all. Don’t be afraid to go faster. You should feel more in control of your overall backswing with a rapid weight shift.
@@lookmil107 yes I’ve tried a late weight transfer at the top and you are correct Sir. It makes sense not to have a slow gradual weight transfer. These fine little details make a big difference. Dr Kwon’s system is easier to follow especially since he has moved to the step drills

All these videos with Dr Kwon just seem to be him showing the same drill and esentially just have the golfer warm up and gainig club head speed as they keep taking more and more swings. Are they pr'ing? Are they actually doing something theyve never done before?
Do your analysis yourself…? DrKwon is doing this for years and years. Even in a science based environment…
