SO here we are again
Wave go out and out do themselves in some kind of ultimate outdoing of the outdoers.
Scheps Omni channel is frankly one of a kind, designed in conjunction with Andrew Scheps who had this concept in mind. The Omni channel allows for totally modular interchangeable segments as well as the adding of an additional waves processor!
But wait its not that simple, each module is independently switchable between Mid Side Processing and Stereo and or duo giving some incredibly flexibility to the mixing chain. Coupled in with the fact each strip can be arranged into any order desired is some next level routing options in one strip.
Than theres more! each strip opens up to revelae a slew of other useful features such as HP and LP filters and sidechaining options, either internally or externally and again variable to each segment of the channel strip.

Had the same problem with the inserts but if you update all the waveshells it works!!

Blue Matrix in waves central, just reinstall one plugin and it will give you the option to update all. After the update, If your using pro tools, hold down shift while launching and check rescan under the waves dialog

My CPU i7-4770K with Cubase Pro 9.5/Win 10/SSD, GPU is Sapphire Radeon R9 270X 2GB GDDR5 and sound card buffer size @ 512 samples (Audient id22). I made 25 tracks/channels with a WAV drum loop loading the following channel strips on each of the 25 channels/tracks:
Results:
* Waves EMI TG12345 - CPU hit 44%
* iZotope Neutron 2 (all 6 modules active) - CPU hit 22%
* Waves Scheps Omni Channel (all 5 modules active) - CPU hit 21%
* Eventide UltraChannel - CPU hit 20%
* Waves Kramer HLS + PIE - CPU hit 18%
* Plugin Alliance bx_console E or G - CPU hit 10%
* Waves SSL Channel - CPU hit 6.5%
The SSL and bx_console are very CPU friendly beasts, while Neutron/Omni/TG12345 are the CPU hogs. GPU intensity of these varies with Neutron 2 and Omni Channel as most intense (SSL least GPU intense).

Bought it soon as it released!! Had been trying to decide on a plugin or two and having a hard time......then, this came and was exactly what I had been wanting!! Also, it released at only $49 instead of full price ($150 I think) so it's worth EVERY penny!! Barely got to play with it yet but already LOVE it and can tell it has what I been needing!! dopemcee Yes but, this fits on a small screen and does so much processing without having 10 instances of other plugins taking up screen space when working quickly and efficiently! Do a mix with it and then come back to this thread. Let me know what you think of it then!

For some reason I can't set this plugin to stereo. It's mono no matter what track I put it on.
There 2 versions both a stereo and a mono one.
You should have two versions. I do.

Question I love the video , I want to use this plugin . Question to get a consistent sound would you recommend this on every audio channel like use would do ssl compressor plugin or just on stereo bus routes with vocals etc
definitely on channels. However it does add some character (which is kinda the idea) So i personally dont like it on everything.

I think the free update Waves announced for all users fixes the plugins not showing up.

What if the update is expired on my previous plugin's,I still can use them tough,but this plugin if I buy now and Doesent show up?Will the update be available for free?
I understand. Waves takes that into consideration. They apply updates to all your Waves plugins, expired or not. The WUP only updates future versions of the plugin, not the functionality of it to work alone or the interconnectivity with other Waves products.

I'm getting problems with the mono version .When I apply compression to a track it gets panned slightly to right .Other odd subtle sound problems occur sometimes that I need to investigate .Anyone else got problems with it ?.
the panning to the right is literally impossible if your using a mono track in your DAW :/
Not impossible, it happens .Somehow it effects the signal and gives a slight pan to the right in the stereo mix and before you suggest my headphones are wrong I use Bayerdynamic DT 770 pros so thats not the problem .Also with the wavetune live mono plugin I get horrendous panning effects ,Using the stereo plugin solves that problem and the stereo Scheps omni channel plugin sorts that problem out as well .
If your using a mono channel in your DAW it is literally impossible to have something panned without adjusting the pan pots, its a physical impossibility. Whats more likly is your using a mono plugin on a stereo channel and causing a discrepancy between L&R.
Are you using FL studio by any chance?
I'm using cubase 9.5 and my vocal tracks are always mono .You say it's impossible but it is happening .
verify that the input bus you are using is set as a mono bus in the VST connections menu.
if you assign a stereo vst effect to a mono audio track recorded from a mono audio bus only the left side of the effect can be heard.
It seems like it would be pretty easy to link the input and output gain and match levels.
You could use the multi select trick to be fair, but it was very late / early an i didnt think of it,

Yotam Waves actually you need to update Waves Central for this plugin to appear in DAW.

The source vocal bus (while yes, very hip) isn't the best for evaluating the strip. It's tinty, phasing and already sounds processed. :(
