Love your videos David, I didn’t really have a question, just wanted to give some love and say how amazing you’re giving us updates, keep up the good work !😎
Hi David! Thank you for all the information… I have a question, do I have to go somewhere else the first time I am going to use the magic key? Or I just to the entrance and scan my bar code? I already have the park reservarions…
Hi! Once you’ve made your park reservation in the app, you can just go to the turnstiles at the park and you’ll be allowed in on the day that you reserved
Payment plans are usually only for California residents so you have to prove that (I think with the zip code attached to your credit card). But no credit check is required
I have 2 gift cards to use, I know they only allow 1 gift card per purchase. If I need to buy to separate Magic Key Passes due to the gift card situation, would i be able to 2 transactions? Or after i purchase 1, i will have to wait again in queue to purchase the second one? Thanks!!
@@DavidVaughn Thanks for letting me know. I wish there was an easier way! I bought 2x 3day so cal tickets that they say i can "upgrade" so long as I scan the first day in the park and that way, on the 10th I could simply choose to upgrade those tickets via the app without getting taken to the normal queue. So long as my key is still available i would be able to do that. Have you heard/done such a thing before?
When making reservations how fast can you make the next ones? We are looking at getting the Imagine Key and wanted to go for 3 days but can only make 2 reservations, is it pretty easy to get days reserved?
Reservations can be tricky, especially during busy dates. However, most of the time if you check the night before after 10pm, you’ll often see that folks cancel last minute and you can book. I realize that’s not very assuring for a 3-day visit so maybe another ticket option will be your best bet versus the Imagine Key
So if I purchase a magic key and there’s a black out date on the calendar for this Saturday can I go that day for my first activation day or will I still not be allowed in?
Nice video! I would like to check, does this mean that one key only admits the holder only? Also to know there’s a magic key terrace. If I am a key holder, can I bring in my parents and wife into the terrance along with me? Or do they limit guest numbers as well? Thanks! 😊
Thanks! A Magic Key only allows entry for one person and is exclusive to that person. However, Magic Key Terrace does allow you to bring guests. You could bring all of those people with you into the lounge as long as there is availability. However because the lounge is inside Disney California Adventure, everyone will need to have paid admission into that park in order to dine there
We don’t know but likely. It’s probably because of crowd control. And overselling could mean fewer Magic Key reservations. I’ll update if more are released
@@DavidVaughn gotcha. Yeah I just came back from the parks for my bday and was tryna look into those since it’s been years since i been. Last time i was there with my kids we had annual passes
Here’s what Disneyland says about Upgrades: A Guest wishing to upgrade to a Pass from another form of eligible Disneyland Resort theme park admission media must upgrade on the same day in which the original form of theme park admission media is valid, and must choose a Pass of equal or greater value than the retail price of the original theme park admission media when it was purchased. The difference in prices must be paid in full at the time of the upgrade. If an upgrade to a Pass is made from a multi-day ticket, the Pass will be backdated to begin on the first day that such ticket was used; if an upgrade to a Pass is made from a lower level Pass, the new Pass will have the same expiration date as the original Pass. Each guest wishing to upgrade their theme park admission media to a Pass must be present at the time of the upgrade transaction. Fully used, or partially used and expired, theme park admission media, complimentary ticket media, special event ticket media and ticket media stating its ineligibility for an upgrade may not be upgraded to a Pass. Upgrades may be available from time to time or at no time, as determined in Disney’s discretion. Additionally, upgrades are subject to Pass availability as determined by Disney. Downgrades are not allowed.
You pay $189 down and the rest are equal monthly payment, varies depending on the pass you get. Payments are only available for California residents. Everyone else has to pay in full
@@jay_cee1929 Yes all 3 were available when it let me in at like 6pm but I just chose the enchant key. It was definitely giving me a hard time just to add it to my cart and I think they sold out right after.
Here’s the Magic Key access calendar that shows blockout dates. All keys on sale have at least some blockouts: disneyland.disney.go.com/passes/blockout-dates/
Does the southern California pass cover both parks??
Love your videos David, I didn’t really have a question, just wanted to give some love and say how amazing you’re giving us updates, keep up the good work !😎
I appreciate this so much! Very kind of you and glad these are useful! 🤩
Thanks for the video!! Do you know if passes are still available for purchase? Cause I go on the sight and it says only available for renewals.

How do I join the queue? Do I just go on the website and wait till the keys open at 9am?
Visit the link at 830am and wait for the time to open sometime after 9am. Once the queue opens, the page should refresh:
disneyland.disney.go.com/passes/
@@DavidVaughn So once I join the queue after around 9am, am I able to buy the magic key pass right away or do I have to wait?
how early should one join the virtual queue to buy a inspire key?
I would make sure to be ready at 830am PST and then wait for the queue to open!
Hello I have a question, what’s the best option for buying a Disney annual pass when you don’t live in California
You can buy any of the annual passes except for the Imagine Key
I have a question how many people would I be able to take with the inspire or the believe key ?
when can we buy the magic key? is there a selected time to buy them? how can we be notified of it.
Who else is on the waiting room right now though
I got 1
When buying an annual pass and doing the payment plan system, do you have to qualify for it meaning, do they have to run your credit?
Payment plans are usually only for California residents so you have to prove that (I think with the zip code attached to your credit card). But no credit check is required
What does "Available for Renewal Only"? If this is my first time, can I purchase one?
Just ignore that, it’s not relevant but the only screenshots I could grab
@@DavidVaughnwhat if it still says it and what does only 2 reservations mean only up to 2 people?

We dont know how the queue will work until it launches on Wednesday. Usually you can go back and purchase again without waiting

Do you have a make a reservation for both parks to park hop? Or can you just make a reservation for one park and still hop? Can you please clarify
You just make a reservation at one park and you can hop after 11am
when it says up to 4 theme park reservations at any one time does that mean you can only go 4 times that year?
It means that you can only book 4 at a time. And then once you use or cancel a reservation you can book another

So if I purchase a magic key and there’s a black out date on the calendar for this Saturday can I go that day for my first activation day or will I still not be allowed in?
Hey, so if you’re blocked you won’t be able to book a reservation in advance and so you won’t be able to visit the day
Thx this help me to pass❤
Thanks for this video! Gunna try to get a pass tomorrow! Hopefully they’re not all gone within the first minute lol
Same!!! ❤ good luck
When you say theme park reservations do you mean for multiple people? I’m trying to get a family of four passes
A Magic Key can’t make reservations for other people, only for the person who owns it
For all passes do you have to pay it all in one go? Or is there a payment plan for them?
I’m still waiting for payment plan information. I’ll update as soon as I have the details and I’ll comment here again
@davidvaughn any updates?

Do all members of the magic key party have to be present to go in?
Can you further explain what you mean? I’m not sure what the question is
What's the difference between a block out day and a day that has nothing on it????
Are you looking more than 90 days in advance? Since you can only book 90 days in advance, days after that are usually blank
Is this price per person?
What if I bought 3 day tickets can i switch to magic keys?
