I have about 5000 hours in the game and it goes towards 6000 hours. Exploration gets very repetitive after a while. Especially if you plan to play the game in "hardcore mode". You will soon want to do other things: war, trade, bgs, power play etc. This is how I discovered the relaxing side of exploration: You come to from work and you are tired for playing games, but you are looking for an ambiance that will relax you... That's when you take a discovery boat and play for 1-2 hours. If you are lucky, you can catch a nice view or two or experience something close to the feeling of being lost in space... Then you get sleepy and go to bed in real life :D By the way, there are still no cockpits and interior space. However, with the Odisey add-on package, you can land and travel on planetary surfaces. You can do exobiology. Available in my other videos. This is the "legacy" version of the game (formerly called horizons).
