Tbh I feel a bit bad and a little wrong getting so emotional about this song and album in general because I haven't been ARMY for too long (2020). I've barely scratched the surface but here I am sobbing and getting emotional about this. That Yoongi quote is comforting but still feel bad because I feel like I'm missing something.

in my 41 years of my life, no musician has made me cry tears of joy, no artist has made me feel loved as much as BTS. I've never cried watching an mv or listening to music before but BTS really made me cry. Their lyrics were so pure and sincere and the mv was so poetic and brings back so much memories. To the Armies that stood with them from the beginning, this is for you. So much respect and love! Y'all carried them and supported them through the hard years!

@@Fifiandtheflowertots72 the meaning of the song is looking back onto the past and recognising the beautiful moments that they've shared with eachother and us but also recognising that their most beautiful moment hasn't happened yet because there is still so much more to come. they're saying goodbye to the first chapter of their career (9-10 years) and moving into a new era while reiterating that all the fame & trophies are not what matter to them, it's the art & the fans that matter. they also mention a few times that even though they've achieved a lot, they're still the same because they have the same dreams & the same sentiment behind their love for music.🫂💜

I literally cried while watching the premiere. I felt sad and happy at the same time. This song is perfect. And after watching it the second time I started noticing that there are some representations of all their past title tracks, it literally shows everything they have done so far and I couldn’t be more proud to be ARMY. The song feels like it ends prematurely, like a cliffhanger, which actually works with the concept of "best is yet to come" perfectly. Idk if they did that intentionally, but if they did, they are actually insane

Firstly I just wanted to say that JKs vocals are amazing and the lyricsare so poetic and beautiful.
Secondly the MV itself has this calming effect (which also is emotional to me).
I also love how they sing about how much they love music and doing eat they like.
It's like they are looking back on the past and looking forward to the best that's "yet to come".
Also there are references to past MVs including Springday, BST, no more dream aka the bus.
I don't know why but this song is bringing tears to my eyes and I can't help but smile through out the whole thing and them wearing all white it's like they are angels singing to us (which in reality they are).
I also love the melodic beat of the music as its so relaxing and calming.

Man i know them back in 2016 started stan them at 2017 until before pandemic i was really young listening to their songs I've never had so much interest more than bts in any aspects of my likings i was genuinely happy remembering my good old army days with bunch of my friends. Did stop having stanning them when pandemic happened but coming to this to see how they're going makes me really happy and sad i wanna thank them for memories they gave me when i was younger.

I've been with BTS since the DNA age. They keep surprising me and moving all my emotions. Today I am also touched. I am glad that I was not the only one who shed a tear. Hey Bris same here. Ima keep it short and simple. My life changed in 2018 when i found BTS. They saved me and changed my way of thinking. Specifically self love and not walking alone. I’m very grateful to be apart of Army. My dad hates bts. But BTS means everything and i care what no says. This song was perfect. The nostalgic props from previous MV and just hitting the feels. BTS forever !!!
The theme of this song reminds me of Mamamoo's WHERE ARE WE NOW. A look back at their work and looking forward to the future. There's nothing sad about this song, it's all positive. Even if they decide to fulfill their military obligation all at their same time, music is their life and they see no end to BTS. They are here for the long haul, and that is good for all of us.

What makes it even more heart warming/breaking is that they’re taking a hiatus so this song is even more of a “don’t worry the best is yet to come”. We’ll be back. So it’s definitely going to be different without them as a group for now.
As RM said, he thought BTS was a different group but the problem with K-pop is that it doesn’t give you time to mature” which is very true. So for them to come to this agreement to be able to take a step back from everything and each other to find who they are as a person and find their true selves while also making the music they want, is also a refreshing feeling for them and everyone. When you said you've become a different person because of KPOP, I really felt that. I was such a different person as well before I got to know KPOP in 2017. I knew nothing about this whole other culture and music genre, it was so refreshing to get to know a whole new world where everything is so inspiring and different than everything else that I knew about in my life. Getting to know BTS and the Korean culture was so eye-opening for me. I've come to love this whole other part of the world that I didn't even know existed before. It changed the way I think about other cultures, before I judged the asian culture without knowing it was racist, like a lot of people still do, but now I see that it was so wrong of me. KPOP also gave me a passion in my life that I really missed. Because of that my life would never be the same as it is today if I didn't knew KPOP. It makes me feel included, supported in difficult times, not alone when I'm struggling with certain feelings. I'm proud to call myself a KPOP fan. Thanks for this video!!

저는 이 곡을 들으면서 1990년대에 제가 어린시절에 듣던 감성적인 KPOP 느낌이 물씬 나서 아련한 설레임을 느꼈어요. GOD의 길에서 느껴지던 따듯하고 인간미 넘치는 노래들과 '샵'이 부른 '내 입술 따듯한 커피처럼'에서 느껴졌던 그런 묘한 설레임 같은 그 느낌을 다시 느끼게 되었어요. 이 곡 진짜 너무 좋은거 같아요.

This is such an emotional song, our boys promising us while they close a chapter of their life, this is not the end but they're going "back to one" and continue the journey with us.
