Abstraction and straightforwardness. Taking one idea to its most logical consequences, so that it becomes radical: this is what MM6 stands for.
This show transports you to the early Margiela era ... Catwalk, Soundtrack, Looks, Beauty and so on ... In the tiniest details ...Even the curtain, where models apeared from behind, which was a thing back in the late 80´s early 90´s ....BRILLIANT !!!

Great collection. The geometry (tailoring) of the garments is spot on. The colour choice is modern, fresh, original and coherent. Very wearable as well for a Margiela. Excellent work. Well done Galliano!! 👋👋

Galliano doesn't design MM6.
I think its an in house collective of designers and not Galliano. The jackets are great.

Yes, this is a great collection. Clean, easy, modern, familiar shapes made new and fresh again. Quite an accomplishment.

Brilliant, love the pants and coats, all so wearable, fantastic proportions. Simplicity is the hardest thing and here is a masterclass as to how to do it perfectly, a tiny detail lifts the entire outfit

Sleek, elegant, stylish. Relaxed pared-back silhouette, but the tailoring & geometry really elevate this collection.
They re all unfinished master piece, the real soul and craftsmanship of MM6.
This makes me want to start a “feed the starving/dying models” foundation

this is more like it. i love john and the theatrics but liked very few pieces from the main collection. glad this popped up on my feed to make me feel better

Galliano is an amazing designer. From flamboyant to minimal he does it all. But I miss the flamboyant counterpoint - the poetry, the narratives of Galliano Dior. Will he ever be able to do that again??

There is a kid in NYC that I used to hear at the west 4 st stop, who is also a bucket player and it sounds just like this. Whenever I hear him playing omg I always give him 5dollars in another filled to the brim. He's so amazing!!!

Do these people spy on each other? There's all these collections that could have done by the same people. All very minimalist, mostly all black and white -- even Dolce and Gabbana! Versace very minimal as well.

@@Awalshe1 Yes, but Galliano and Alexander McQueen, for example, were both excellent tailors- McQueen was even trained on Savile Row - but these current styles all seem so unimaginative.
There's a thing called forcasters that predict future trends. It's an absolute necessity since designers work so far ahead. It's particularly necessary for fabric as they work even further ahead.

I pantaloni semplicemente importabili a quelle lunghezze, primi anni 2000 abbiamo già dato in quanto a orli raccogli fango e cadute nelle scale salendo i gradini, non so forse il ricordo di quegli orli insopportabili è stato troppo duro per lo stilista da doverlo rimuovere dalla memoria. Beh perlomeno non sono inciampati sui loro piedi come le scarpe ridicole di Valentino di qualche anno fa.
