    Just found your channel, thanks for putting out such good info! Diving into tuning w/ 97’ L31 with a 0411 swap…. Iv ‘tuned’ diesels to be more… reliable…. as I’m an equipment mechanic so I’m excited to learn GM stuff!

    Good points. Nice settings for a daily. I too like the stock up shift table but the downshift table sucks.
    But if the customer is going to tow a lot, 4th gear is about useless and you might want some lockup in 3rd below maybe 40 percent throttle to keep trans temps happy while cruising but to keep it unlocked on heavier acceleration

      Absolutely! I feel like the stock shift tables are pretty ok other than needing to bump the wot column the shift rpm. I feel like I always go back to the oem modeling and make adjustments from there. In the process of using some of the stock converter settings as welll just to see how it likes it
