awesome thank you so much the discord fix was my reason for the auto adjusting it was driving me crazy the past few weeks not knowing why you're the best
Thanks Brian. I tend to enable the Windows audio enhancement called Loudness Equalization. Loudness Equalization levels out the high and low frequencies within most audio played on the system.
Every time I open/close Minecraft or Fortnite or a game, the audio volume changes, usually to about 20 in the game, and 10 when leaving the game. How do I stop this?
This was pissing me off and I tried everything. Had no idea the answer to my problems was the call on my 2nd monitor. Thank you dear god I was loosing my mind. You are a hero for posting this.
Hi, my issue is when I listen to music or open a random video from UA-cam my computer's sound rise up automatically even though it's sound level is low. How can I fix this problem? I did remove the audio driver and then installed it again a few times but still happens.
Nice one Brian mate I have the Asus Xonar sound card in my main desktops and it is a brilliant piece of goods letting me have total control over the audio output into my high end Logitec systems.
That's not what I was expecting. What I am experiencing is my volume is for example at 27% and I am watching shorts on youtube, if I keep scrolling in a bit the volume will feel like its 80% but it is still on 27% and if I move the slider a bit it will go back to actually 27%. Its fucking annoying when I am trying to watch streaming websites if the video for some reason has to buffer it is enough for t he volume to get weird. This is bad during late night when I try watching a movie and then the audio gets too loud
I have a problem with my audio. When I play Assetto Corsa and want to listen to music on Spotify the volume on Spotify goes down when the sound from assetto corsa goes up. When I am in menu on assetto corsa and the game is not loud the sound from Spotify is normal but the louder assetto corsa is the quieter Spotify is. Like when it is very loud in assetto corsa the volume on Spotify goes down to like 5%😢 What should I do?
Question, can you use a Win Pro 64Bit Eng Intl 1pk DSP OEI DVD Version 21H2. I want to format the C drive and do a fresh install with this. I have installed it on top of 10 Home once. I have a issue with the Virus being completely shut off.
There is a way to deactivate the auto set volume for a headphone?? Every time whenever I connect it to the pc, its out and micro volume is set to 80%, how to prevente this on Windows??
I tried every possible fix and trick I could find online, but none of them fixed the sound problem. Usually the sound level has changed when I turn on the PC, and also after reboot. I have also noticed when listening to music that the sound level suddenly drops, and sometimes later it returns back to normal. Recently, out of curiosity, I tried another operating system for other reasons. I soon found that the sound problem was gone. Completely. I didn't like that operating system, though, so I went back to Windows. And guess what! The same damn sound problem came back. All I can conclude from this is that the name of the bug is Windows.
Yep. I NEVER had this issue before Windows 11. I HATE my settings being changed without my permission and me doing it, manually. Micro-suck sucks ... probably because of all the H1-B's from India!
Yes, I have the same exacty problem. which is bugging few for up to 6 months plus. I have view all latest volume fix but it never work. I have also search in rededit and google up potential fixes. All of them didnt work. I decide to use the "Fix Problem using Window Update" in my windows 11. "Fix problems using Windows Update" is a recovery tool within Windows that allows you to essentially reinstall your current version of Windows, effectively fixing various system issues related to updates, while preserving your personal files, apps, and settings on your computer; essentially acting as a "refresh" for your operating system without fully wiping it clean. This works for me!
Sir i am having a issue in my pc which is having a i5 10400 and gigabyte b560m gaming hd motherboard. I am currently running windows 11 and it is not detecting tpm 2.0 when i run the tpm.msc. I have enabled both tpm and secure boot(which is detected in windows 11) in my BIOS. Due to this reason i cannot play Valorant. Do you know what could be causing this problem ?
I don't have DISCORD or any other apps or audio attached. Changing the Enhancement and Communications tab had no effect. Windows 11 keeps LOWERING (only) the volume on youtube, rumble, and live radio channels. I don't have a microphone or headphone. It even does it when NO audio is playing! Maddening. How I wish Micro-suck had left us alone like in the "old days" of only a few years ago (XP) when WE set parameters and they STAYED PUT!
I have the same problem but with speakers not with mic. I try to lower my volume to 0 but it always finds its way back to 50 👽 and it happens on its own...
For me it was a wireless mouse causing the problem. It's happened a couple of times and I found that by taking the dongle out of my computer and putting it back in fixed the issue.
The hell MicroScum ruined everything when they went from 7 to 10? 7 was probably the best MS OS after XP. I literaly never ever had problems with 7. SInce they forced us to leave 7 and go to 10, we keep seeing problem after problem in 10.
Thanks for the video, it turns out my laptop had some software called Nahimic that was highjacking my audio control. I switched profiles and now the volume stays at one volume and doesn't jump up and down willy nilly.
We get audio troubleshooting calls where I work and of course programs like Discord are not allowed and a lot of those settings you show in this video are locked out or disabled even with our System Administrator credentials. The only audio programs that could possibly be controlling volume would be Microsoft Teams, for some people Zoom, and the phone system that we use Avaya 1X Agent, and 1X Communicator which do not appear to have those settings. Any advice on how I can help the callers? Some people think it's the Plantronics Blackwire headsets that they send out and of course in some instances the headset is the culprit but not all of the time. Callers an't hear the customers, the customers can't hear, the callers, or both.
I wonder if this still happens if you have uninstalled discord before , also I find windows 11 has nerfed my audio lately, some UA-cam videos are loud AF and some are really quiet and audio enhancements just don't work anymore

@@TwoThousandStu Hi mate, I haven't got a CD/DVD drive. I've been speaking to an engineer this morning who's going to take a look at it over the weekend. He told me that Windows now can end up updating your bios, which might have changed bios settings. Maybe a Qflash bios of the latest Mobo firmware might fix it, or the update might have caused a corruption of Windows. @@maydaygoingdown5602 The fact that it's refusing to even post, along with the things you've tried to fix the problem, says to me that it's more a BIOS thing than a Windows thing.
