Hey Man. Just curious. I'm thinking about getting the Fenix 5x Plus in the next couple of weeks. In researching it I came across your channel. How do you now feel having it long term? Regret? Thanks for the reply . I have a Fenix 5 but I think I want to upgrade.

Justin Arnold dude I love it! The only issues I’ve had is sometimes I have to go to the app from my phone and sync my workouts. It’s not really a big deal and I don’t mind but when I first got it it would stay connected to my iPhone 7 much more consistently than my new iPhone 11+. I would say go for it if you’re buying brand new. And I haven’t read about the 6X but maybe that one has a better operating system? I thought a TPU plastic cover on mine and it’s nice to have the sapphire glass knowing that it shouldn’t scratch. I wear mine at least three times a week to work and I have zero scratches on the screen. I know my responses a little all over the place but having the map is pretty cool and also Ha works without a phone.

@@goride365 no worries I appreciate the response. My only issue with the 6x is the 5x has had time to work the bugs out. Garmin is still sending me updates on my 5 but it can't hold a candle to what the 5x plus can do. I'm sold. Awesome watch boss.....

I got a 7.5 inch wrist will the 5x look too big?

      Auxide I’m honestly not
Familiar with wrist sizes. If you buy at rei and are a member($20 lifetime w great perks) you can return very very easily if it’s too big. I’m not sure what size wrist I have.

Man I think it is worth the piece of mind to have the little bit of titanium on top and the sapphire. I've seen a popular UA-camr mention how his Fenix scratched pretty easily without the sapphire. So yes, I would save an extra few hundred for an almost scratch-proof watch since you will be investing so much.

Ninja Assassin I found these silicone covers on amazon. I like the few less grams from the titanium. Loving this watch more and more as I learn the navigation through the menus.

Did you really pay $300 xtra just for the titanium version?

Robert Byron yes. I like lighter things, even if it’s a few ounces. I figured if I was going to pay that much for it I watch I would just get the best of the best and pay extra.

I paid extra for the plus vs the regular and I’ll never use pulse ox or Garmin pay. My money. I do what I want. Also I sold my Apple Watch as well. No regrets.
