I know Wayne very well. I live in the neighboring city of Westland. This must have been recorded on either a Saturday afternoon or late Sunday morning. Went by a church, St. Mary's and cars were parked in front and on the side street. That means either Saturday or Sunday mass going on. But the State-Wayne movie theater was already open and the bowling alley looked full. And L. George Coney Island was busy.
Hell, I was raised in that town in the 60's. Franklin St, then Williams. My Dad was City Manager. That and a dime got me a cup of coffee at the Metro Place Mall, which I would drink while watching the Virginia Ferrell beauty school chicks walking around. The "virgin ferrells" I called them. It was a life ago, it was a wife ago.
Tim, I didn't know you did uploads too. Nice video. I heard the mayor of Wayne on WWJ before, talking about revitalizing the downtown... fixing up a theatre or something. It was an interesting interview but I'm not too familiar with Wayne personally. Have a good one!
Hello Tim, Lone Wolf has given you a great shout out...thought we’d pop over and say hi! Cool video and channel😎😎😎New followers, looking forward to watching more, regards, Simon👍👍👍

I can go cruising without going out. Thanks Tim for the ride-a-long. Downtown Wayne is beautiful. Love the talk on the radio🤗🤗❤️❤️👍👍

It sure is beautiful , good stuff to hear on the radio still
Hasn't changed much since I used to walk home that route from SMHS 1971.
Wayne has always had character in my opinion
