I liked this series but agree it felt ended too soon. I think Blob's "redemption" is implied as he bodyguards Fisk as their clutch witness. It's kinda wild that Hydra Cap could be caught by a renowned Avenger like Cap and linked to a literal nuclear explosion and still walk scotsfree so fast though. Smh.
That Rogue and Deadpool moment was wholesome as f*ck

The super-soldier serum makes Hydra-Cap a 'perfected human being' which is still a baseline human. That although it makes him physically and mentally superior to a normal human, his DNA isn't mutated like a mutant or superhuman like the FF and Spider-Man so he's not being a hypocrite when it comes to fanatical genetic purity.
Magneto has always screwed it up. He was more of an ally to the bigots every time he threaten the world and called it a fight for mutantkind which always made it worse for them.

I know it is for story reasons, but even some of the enemies that are on Grant Rogers side should not help him. Not only not help, but actually hate and despise the guy. I guess everyone forgot Secret Empire and wanted to forget it. I mean if Grant gets rid of mutants he will probably go after everyone is not in the dreams of Hydra. Rest in peace to everyone who is not part of their real empire.

Good review. I commented on Comic Explained about on Rogue power set and needing Deadpool and Capt. America metal support sleeve but surprised no mentioned of Jean Grey with Scott and Fantastic Four in bondage at the end scene. It means she's been brought back from the White-Hot Room by Mother Righteous back to Orchis. Granted next week's issues will clear up more things but I thought the comments about the normal human conflict over mutants were interesting. It reflects human behavior evidenced in evolution/history. Higher intelligence and group mentality reaches thresholds of diminishing returns to individual/collective goals. Having gained higher brain functions doesn't mean it overrides individual or collective goals, which even clash. Why else do some individuals have desires for accumulation of individual goals over group goals. Even animal communities having group/hive mentality, there are conflicts in two different ant colonies for the same area. We see it in human civilizations of Roman versus Egyptian, Persia versus Mongol civilizations, so human versus mutant versus External versus Atlantean versus Inhuman versus Vampire. As my old history professor would say, "There is nothing new under the sun"
This was a good issue
This was a good read but I was a bit confused by some stuff. Like this image of Storm, Sunspot and "Genesis". This whole panel was after Evil Steve was brought back and before he became Captain Krakoa. And Genesis never come to Mars before that or ever just chilled with those 2. So I think it's either a mistake or Zsen, cause I've noticed a few times the way they have drawn her made her look like Genesis 🤷♂ There's a part that says he was created by Red Skull had me think either their talking about before he came to 616, or they were talking about Red Skulls dead Nazi Captain America, or its a mistake in wording cause Kobik created Stevil. It's also funny that Selene killed him and then brought him back for Orchis. I was also shocked by the fact that Rogue was being nuked and was just a skeleton, but still was able to mimic Deadpool's power once she touched him?
How did he get his face back after deadpool trashed it , was thinking he'd become the next Red skull
I think we all know how this will go down for Orcus at the end of their arc

No he was just the real captain replacement when the cosmic cube changed history but history was changed back and the original cap the hero was restored.

Hydra Cap is the real Captain America, Marvel made it painfully clear during the Secret Empire event that Cap has always been Hydra and the Cosmic Cube was used to Turn him into the Hero we all know and love.
When the Cosmic Cube restored Caps memories of his time with Hydra it stored the memories of the All-American Cap, then Falcon & Winter Soldier used those stored memories with the Cosmic Cube to make a new Cap.
Saying he’s a clone is a false representation of what Hydra Cap is. If anything hero Cap is the clone.
I could go on about how messed up it was for Marvel to do that to Cap but I’ll save that for another post lol.
At least in Secret Empire they tried to show how Hydra Cap still had a conscious and really struggled with what he did, and how he believed it was for the greater good. That aspect was the only thing that made Secret Empire interesting imo. Here they just represent him as a one dimensional Evil villain, even giving him the name of a D list villain.

@@user-zt2bh2tu6yno he was never the real captain the real captain was replaced by a reality warping cosmic cube and stored in her memory cap was then replaced by a evil captain she created but she eventually brought back the original captain who defeated Stevil and had his history restored.

I liked this book but I feel like the roster for this team really overlapped in terms of skill level. So much so that they literally had multiple panels where M (not calling her Penance) and Kwannon were basically doing everything in sync. With all of the mutants they could've chosen from, they could've made this team more interesting.

No, they need to make it clearer. Hydra Cap was warped to be but that was retconned practically. Steve is the original.
I read and collect them all and have special investment into the X titles and Spider titles. That being said, the Krakoa era is ending prematurely and they're goofies for ending it. Krakoa is something that should have no "end". It is a natural progression and growth of this entire lore. It was an idiotic move and I believe they've done this because of the impending films. In hindsight these live action films have ruined comics.
