When I was a kid the press always refused to her as Lohan. I guess everyone was usually called by their last name in media. Spears, Simpson. No one was really doing the first name Madonna thing anymore that was "like so 80s". 😂 Wild times.

Read any political article, crime report, etc., and after they give the first name of the person they are referring to *once,* they exclusively use last names after that.

I think it's the pronunciation of Li-Lo that caused this confusion. If the interviewer had pronounced Li-Lo as 'Lie-Low' then it might've rung a bell with Renee.
