One thing that i feel like you did not mention is that the Sutro lights have better visibility when looking down and behind you, thanks to not having a frame impeding your view. I got them specifically because i liked that there was not any frame hindering my view when looking behind me, the lens is also stretched out in that region compared to a regular sutro, specifically for seeing better when looking behind you.
Big fan of Oakleys for two reasons. The optical clarity is much better than other brands I've tried, and (more importantly) they are designed so that the lenses don't shatter and stay in the frames if you crash (you can see the pellet impact test in their youtube videos or on their website).
Its currently so cold here my eyewear consists of ski goggles with a dark lense for snow and clear lense for night time/rain
Hope you are getting some good winter ride time.
I use safety glasses when bombing downhills on my trail bike.
I get alot of looks when I'm riding but it gets the job done and that's enough for me.
I know a few people suggest something similar. Much cheaper if you ever crash.
The value of the Rockbros pair is really good tbh.
Always been a fan of the $5 Walley World aviators.

Good point and I also enjoy the wider viewpoint from Oakley
Did you get a chance to weigh the glasses? The inexpensive ones have extra lens, which is nice after the original lens scratches.
Just got around to do it. Oakley is 32g and Rockbro is 34g.
@@cycleandexplore I think I will order the Rockbro glasses to match my Rockbro bike luggage I recently purchased
You will enjoy the sunglasses.
@@cycleandexplore can you send the Amazon link, many different styles

I agree the optical performance is excellent.
Rockbros look like a copy of the Oakley flight jacket.
Yes, it seems like Rockbros takes some serious inspiration from Oakley. However, I noticed a few design differences between them.
