She did have feelings for him way back in s02, she said something in subtext , go back to season 2, the case den of thieves , she said a man like wolf makes you feel alive but willl let u down eventually, why risk it. Castle said the heart wants what the heart wants, that was the episode she chose to date demming that there was virtue in dating a man like demming
Didn't u see the guilt written all over her face when she returned after she got shot, th fact that she stood in line to get her book signed . ThAt was a sign of guilt, castle helped her solve cases so she should have shown him a bit of respect , she self reflected after josh broke up with her
She says she isn't interested and yet when he starts pulling away , she agitates , only a selfish person will do that
That sh*t eating grin of a smile in this scene I think is out of all the episodes her most I freakin love you look ever. That little girl smile of a mmmhhmm I did.

I never understood how he didn’t realize how much she loves him. She risked her job for him by interfering with an other cop’s investigation 😮 I mean she obviously didn’t care that she might lose her job just because she wants to keep him safe and because she loves him.
In season 4, episode 20 & 21 is the most hard episode to watch. Can't stand sees Kate's sad face.
Even harder to watch are the episodes where she's together with guys she thinks she loves and Castle desperatly having to watch.
She broke castle's heart many times when She was sleeping with demming and josh , to me season 4 was poetic justice

She is not the type of woman he should be with in the first place, he should have rejected her
Season 4 highlights two things, beckett's self esteem and value she placed on herself in s2 and s3 is not there anymore, Beckett rejected castle in s2 because he slept with Ellie Monroe and she was right to reject him, castle is an idiot before that , but her treatment of him was uncalled for, in s4 her self esteem and value is not there anymore, which means josh broke up with her , the fact that castle still slept with other women and still slept with Beckett at the end of s4 clearly indicates that the self value she placed on herself in previous seasons is no longer there . Hence castle slept with other women and still managed to sleep with Beckett too
