Our 3rd day stay visiting Alaska, we visited the oldest cemetery in Valdez, Alaska. The views are just amazing, and it was very peaceful visit. Then we went to see the railroad tunnel and explores the tunnel inside. Finally, we went to see one of the parks in the area where they called it blueberry park, I did not see any blueberry and I am not sure why they called it blueberry park. Lastly, we visited the beautiful view up the top the mountain to watch the mountain range and the scenery is just phenomenal and I can stay there for a long time to stare at the view. How amazing works of God!

Pioneer Cemetery
The Valdez Pioneer Cemetery is located at the end of Walter Day Memorial Drive which can be found at approximately mile 2.5 of the Richardson highway at the Goldfields Softball Complex turn-off. This cemetery is no longer actively accepting burials, but rather a historic site that was affected greatly by the 1964 earthquake.

Blueberry Lake State Recreation Site is located in spectacular Thompson Pass, 24 miles north of Valdez. The park is located at the large switchback before descending into Keystone Canyon. The high alpine lake offers excellent grayling fishing.
