You really are so incredibly naïve if you think that wouldve done anything, given the response here to this. Any rumour from these friends of hers seen as "nobodies" compared to Depp or Heard, it wouldve quashed in a second by Depps power and influence and their lives ruined.

She should not be witness, but in the end I think the court knows how much worth her testimony has. There is this testimony, it fits to what her sister said, of course it does. When someone asks a question, just answer it. If it doesn't make sense to them, they'll ask the next question. If they just judge you for no reason, don't explain, don't complain. If the world wants to know, the truth will come out somehow. Johnny Depp's method works. The world isn't stupid. If things don't add up, we will figure it out eventually, even if we usually have other priorities. Nuff said.

If the relationship isn't working, obviously, it'll be best to terminate it as quickly as possible.

That's what I was thinking. I feel sorry for them. It's painfully obvious that they must've been abused as children in some way. When Amber called Johnny a baby for not being capable of taking a hit like she did ... you know what she probably went through as a child (trying to "toughen up" or even being first to attack so the expected rejection won't hurt so much - becomes second nature as an adult). It's no excuse for her actions and lies, but it's not right and not up to us to judge her character. I'll pray for her.

In fact I'm afraid of women. I don't want to be the monster that raised me. But she brought monster into the house. Johnny was abused. Amber has a history of violence. Johnny does not. Being abused is no excuse for violence. But a bully that gets there way trives on conflict. She grew up rich and spoiled. Johnny grew up poor and beat down.

How are these people admitting to drugs, violence, and committing perjury with no repercussions?
You can make deals with officials to be witnesses. Like if they need you as a witness but you have incriminating evidence, you can sign deals that grant you immunity for your testimony. But I can’t say if that’s the case here. Drug abuse is more and more common unfortunately and I’m not sure you can simply arrest someone for admitting they have done it in the past.
Once her friends start experiencing the hate Amber is getting, i promise you they’ll fold and come out saying she was lying bc of the damage she caused to them from this trial.

I think it's much darker than just them being terrified of her. There is something about the dynamics of her family which suggests, at least to me, that there could be a component of sexual abuse by the father and in the very least, some recognition of that fact by the mother, further implying she allowed it to continue.
In any case though, if the girls were physically abused by their father as stated in the testimony, it is likely the mother was also smacked around.

Yep, my husband and I learned that the hard way-with family, employees, friends, and even neighbors. I cut ties with my family completely in large part because of it and he doesn't bother much with his for the same reason. This kind of thing profoundly changes an individual and how one perceives people in general. It's sad.

Just wanted to throw in my 2 cents. A lady I worked with in a company felt sympathy for this guy who just started working there. He just got out of jail for domestic abuse against his girlfriend. I didn’t understand why she felt bad for him being so useless, her cousin who worked there too also seemed to always try to help him out. One day I asked her why she feels sorry for a asshole who hits women. She said “ we grew up in a family where men always hit the women so i guess we are used to it” this really blew my mind, because I thought it would be the opposite. I’m 100% on johnnys side, just wanted to say that it’s normal for people who grew up with violence to think violence is normal or acceptable.

Not that i agree with what she says, however, it tells you something about Amber, which in a sense shows you that her sister is the wrongful one. Someone who is abused is repulsed, bitter and feels pure contempt for that person. They dont call them by their first name or usually by any name. JD was probably coached to be respectful and call her Ms Heard. She doesn't show classic signs of an abuse victim. It is very strange and unrealistic the way she is acting towards Johnny. I hope the jury is picking up on this and comes up with the obvious verdict.
Yep, in the 30 years after their marriage ended, my grandma has never referred to her ex husband by his first name. She just cant say it. Amber seems to me desperately wanting to still play a center role in johnnys life and this is the only way she can get that.
