I find these figures way more appealing than the Galaxy Warriors for some reason. Added detail, articulation and cloth capes as well as the slightly more human proportions really does something for me. Shame we didn't get any weird characters like a witch, harpy or succubus. Plenty of female fantasy creatures.
You'd think that there would at least be variation for the villains. But apparently a lot of toy executives believe that girls won't buy toys of villains, which probably explains why the villain characters that they do release tend to be pretty human ones that don't look as weird or inherently villainous.
I like how they have character bios. And the concept of having to fight your brainwashed friend is pretty interesting, would create some good conflict. The toys look pretty nice, but like you say, it's a shame they didn't have more variety. Up until Monster High, I guess nobody thought that girls would play with dolls that looked too "weird". Wow, $45 for a vintage bootleg! To be fair, the figures are pretty decent, considering the time they were made. Being in their box/containers make them look cheaper quality than they actually are.
I legitimately like Supra! I think she nails the generic warrior/knight look! I know it sounds weird to compliment a character for being generic, but I think there is an art to making a good generic character design.
I’d appreciate if they had more muscles but I understand that its purely based on that design policy that women NEED to look slim always and forever. I also agree that some of them should have been non-human. A badass snake lady would be cool.

Hey Phelous, can you see if there's a Goodtimes Noah's Ark movie? I remember being a kid and seeing a Noah's Ark movie on VHS all the time, and also a Christmas movie. Both had the same intro with a book and the company logo and stuff. When you did your review on An angel for Christmas, nostalgia hit me like a truck and I realized that was the movie I saw long ago. Then I remembered the Noah's Ark one. I searched on UA-cam, but nothing. All I remember is this: There were two koalas, one of them rescued a beaver from drowning (apparently Goodtimes or whoever made this flick forgot beavers can swim) and there was an annoying yak? There was also an evil pink giraffe (what?), an evil Cape buffalo and an evil vulture, or so I remember. Then the koalas met Noah, who explained why he was building the ark. Then the beaver helps him build the ark. I barely remember ANYTHING of the plot, except that the evil animals kidnapped one of the koalas and they apparently wanted to prevent the ark from being built, I really don't know why. The ark is built, all the animals get on board, including Noah, the koalas, the beaver, the yak? and some snails, who spent nearly the whole movie coming to the ark, as the evil giraffe, buffalo and vulture get left behind and obviously die off-screen. I remember it ended with the yak thing finding a boyfriend who doesn't like her, and everyone got off the Ark. I, I couldn't be able to make this up even if I tried, this was buried in my head all these years. Could you please search for this movie, and if it exists, make a video about it? I really wonder if it's real or if it's just a fever dream.

I don't know where an English dub exists. The dub I watched when I was a kid on VHS was in Latin Spanish (I'm from Puerto Rico). I watched the whole thing despite not understanding anything... and I now can't believe I liked this as a kid. Oh and the evil animals were led by an evil crocodile and his rat sidekick. I can't believe this.

I think the "tuning fork sword" is supposed to be some sort of sword breaker? Like you'd catch a blade down the groove down the center; but normally the grooves are on the side of the sword. Why am I trying to apply logic to the Galaxy (Girl) Warriors?
Weapons designed for parrying need a short prong alongside the blade. If they are equally long, an opponent's weapon landing in between them is pretty much impossible.

I think the "tuning fork sword" is supposed to be some sort of sword breaker? Like you'd catch a blade down the groove down the center; but normally the grooves are on the side of the sword. Why am I trying to apply logic to the Galaxy (Girl) Warriors?
Weapons designed for parrying need a short prong alongside the blade. If they are equally long, an opponent's weapon landing in between them is pretty much impossible.
