With narrow boats it’s all depends on how long it is. Insurance is only £150 per year then you just need a boat license and if you want to be in a marina the cost to moor there.

It's a good point, Mr Paine but we now regard UA-cam as tv; we never watch live tv any more and YT is just as much a channel as, say, BBC iplayer. In fact, since we can choose the topics and presenters as we wish, we watch far more YT thank any other tv. And The Indie Project(s) was one of the first YT channels we ever saw - yes they are great.

The toilet contents go into Elsan points, which are provided along the canals. The shower water goes into the canal - people use bio-friendly cleaning materials. So, don't worry.
Renting out a boat is very hard work! Loads of insurances to cover then we would have to pay somewhere for it to be as a home base and pay someone to be there for hand overs. Plus you need an extra boat licence & also we need the cash so we can start renovating our barn 😀

That cabin must smell terrible after someone has used the toilet. It needs to be seperate,well away from the galley anyway. You would be better parking your arse off the side of the boat !.

Yeah that's the biggest flaw really. I mean the shower is weird enough but to have a poo there too is just too much.
If you don’t sell it, perhaps raffle it. You may make more money, and someone could get a boat they otherwise couldn’t afford to buy. :)
