I am so glad that I came across this post, I am making a wedding gown for a 51” bust and 41” under bust today, I have been drafting and drafting over and over but cannot get it right. This tutorial is very helpful, you have covered questions and problems so clearly, especially the height of the bodice, I have not seen it done like that before. A huge thank you 🙏 🙏 The bodice is an Empire line, but it comes up in an upside down V between the breasts, do you have a tutorial, or any tips on that?

Please sis Why do you always go up by 3inches on the armhole depth line and not the mid point of the armhole depth. Also why do you slope your shoulder by 1.5"
I always rely on your videos, is there a way of knowing the actual dart intake for the busttightening instead of given figures for bust sizes at least for clarity

Always having issue with the armhole people calculate, you said bust/6 plus 1.5 plus 1, while some uses bust/6 plus 1.5 , when taking the armhole the normal way we tend to get higher figure than this pls trow more light on this thanks
It's same thing. The extra 1 inch I added is for shoulder slope. But if you have already slanted your shoulder slope before calculating your armhole, then there's no need to add the extra one inch.

The 3 inches gives a perfect fitting on the front armhole while the 1.5 is because the front shoulder appears lower than the back shoulder
