I was thinking the same thing. I've had the 245 in the bag for a year which to me is the absolute best hollow body players distance iron Mizuno has made. The JPX 925 Forged would be its cavity backed brother. I suspect some of this tech shows up in the 265 later this year. The tri-sole definitely shows up in the 263/265
If you hit off the toe, you don’t want spin because you’ll lose even more distance. You see it on wedges because better players use the toe to kill distance on finesse shots (or open the face for flop shots) but retain spin to prevent too much release.
7 iron going 200 yards. You're going to need 6 wedges to get gapping right. 8i - 185? 9i - 170? pw - 155? gw - 140, sw - 125, lw - 110. I guess maybe 4. but I don't really think these numbers are realistic. I know I don't 110 out of my current 60 degree.
LOL. I was thinking is reminiscent of the JPX 800 Pro I currently play. Especially in the sole. Glad it's not just me 😀
2nd swing golf..... The Forged vs pro 245, same feeling, more power?
Love my 225s, but the Black one looks so good!
These seem like a noticeable difference from the 921 forged. I'll be giving these puppies a swing soon!
Its gonna be in my bag.
Are the Mizuno lies still lower than others or have they changed this?
Are these more comparable to the Srixon zx7 or zx5?

@Snoopsnap24 thanks, I thought that might be the case.

Look GREAT
Why aren't irons made with full face grooves ? Especialy on a game improvement forgiving irons
