You are definitely overlooking the lycan facet. Yeah its boring as fuck but having 5k hp and 450 dmg 25 min in is insane
Also it's not like it's boring to play just because it's not complex, there is a lot of fun to be had in running around with those kind of numbers.

Compared to other transformation heroes like dk and night stalker. All have long ass cooldown on ultimate, Lycan doesn’t offer much other than crit and max move speed. It’s always an awkward smoke gank where you run in way faster than your team, or you’re so behind your team is dead or lucky to be alive. He’s good in a 1v1 but not against a good team in legend rank.
Just finished getting fucked by that as drow. Even with my scepter and my shard I still got crushed mid game.

I often just listen to these sorts of videos and am not watching them. So when he says “this one” I have no idea what he’s talking about. I hope you’ll start considering this dynamic, BSJ! We don’t all see what you are doing on screen.
One of the pro games right after the patch dropped I saw an offlane brood take the necrotic talent, smoke up as the game started and drop a web directly on mid. Sac 1 of his possible webs in lane to give the enemy mid -regen for the entire laning phase is disgusting. Sure they could still back up a little to use bottle, but it's still stupidly effective. Any branch tango combo is pooped on, any natural regen they may have gotten is also reduced.
Ive solved windranger's whirlwind facet.
Get a maelstrom and revs brooch. Costs 0 mana throughout ulti, the entire team is wrecked during your 8 second ulti. If they BKB, turn off the brooch.

For Marci, Bodyguard always gives you 25% lifesteal and 30% damage where side kick you need that specific hero to be close otherwise its only 50% value. I think Bodyguard is better for core marci in almost all situations.

With the brood one I had a pos 3 brood in my game pick the reduce regen facet and she just sat a web mid since I was facing huskar and it was super helpful. Just lil food for thought
Bruh, As a Techies enjoyer. The facet u said its terrible. Its the best one to use. Blast off damage finally scales insanely.
Exactly, played both with and against it. It's an absolute terror on lane if Techies gets some Bracers and scales really nicely into late game. I had to fight vs an Techies who used this and I had no chance, he completely shot me down whenever I showed up on lane

Shouldn't Marci's Facet be the other way around? Core Marci should get Bodyguard to get 100% of the bonus lifesteal and damage where as support Marci should get sidekick because if you are 2500 units away from your teammate or you dont have sidekick on a teammate, you only get 50% lifesteal and damage
Yes. Bodyguard also attacks when your ally attacks, so with supports like jakiro it’s nuts.
I thought the same! Especially Marci + Io with bodyguard let’s you nearly entirely skip farming items which Marci is notorious for how vague that decision can be!

Why is "sleepwalk" a funny name? That has to be one of the most accurately named facets in the game.
you underestimate how broken squees scope can be late game. 2k attack range demolishing sniper from long distance is hillarious
Most high ranked games doesnt go that long
abadon: new shield is great for supports since you can shield your offlaner when he goes in. or in lane it's way harder to dosge that damage
bane: the sleepwalker is free pathing i have seen ppl yoinked out of base with it
double bracer with secret sauce on Techies is pretty insane it is his best facet by a long shot
You should take Dazzle's F2 95% of the time unless you are either going aghs and getting heal bombs on creeps before you actually go in, or you are going core and looking to start a fight with a 2k barrier from Satanic and Crit.

I've played Dark Seer for 80% of my games in the past two months, and I feel like Quick Wit is just such quality of life when last hitting in lane, so much so that I hate not taking it. It kind of throws me off my game if I ever pick Heart of Battle, especially if I get Aghs and I end up not finishing my punch because the attack speed is slower.
Might be that it's just because I'm low Divine and Quick Wit ends up mattering less at high mmr.
Feel the same way. Quick Wit feels much easier to play and more rewarding
quick wit is just an easy go-to, helps farming and laning stage so even pros are defaulting to that. heart of battle is good in certain matchups and more mid-game/teamfight focused. basically 70-30 pickrate between the two on d2pt, similar winrates either way so i think it's mostly preference

I played as veno offlane with a bristleback and went for the Plague Carrier facet to cast them on the bristle, it worked well in that situation but still probably not as good as the other facet
Picking Wind Ranger's "sprinkler" facet against PL is actually a MASSIVE grief.
Normally you Focus Fire the main PL and no matter how many illusions he has, you always auto hit the real one. Wind Ranger is a good PL counter exactly because of that.
With sprinkler, you probably won't even hit the real thing.

Bane's sleepwalker facet has cool synergies with items like force staff, making the value go up, imo.

The "core" Winter Wyvern facet Dragon Sight is better on support than the support facet. Always Dragon Sight on WW, check pro tracker.
Well, you get use mag polarity to push people and bounce against mars's wall.
You are underestimating 2nd facet on Venomancer really bad. With it, you can farm jungle incredibly fast, it's just insane. I know Ceb picks it and has crazy win rate, like 80-90%. But you are leaving your core pretty early
Try Venomancer carry, bit hard in the early but with enough agility it can be very strong.

Sorry BSJ, but you might wanna re-think Dazzle's facets. Nothl Boon is absolutely useless because even at max level with all healing items, the max barrier you give is like 400-500. Just this and only works if ally is full HP, and only lasts 10 seconds. Even for support, always take Poison Bloom. Never never take Nothl Boon, you're e actively throwing the game.
