Went to Fiji Airways on 06/27/2013 as DQ-FJK
Retired today 11/20/2013.

I took 6 flights on that frame.One of the last actually it ever flew. However, a very safe aircraft. It pains me to know all 4 engine,just like the ones previous,are destined to disappear. replaced by the ordinary,some would say bland twins.I'm fortunate to have had a parent who was a pilot. I traveled on many types. From the VC10 with BOAC,the 707's,DC8's,trijets and small twins. still none compare with the space,style and class that IS the 747. I am memorably saddened seeing them disappear.Farewell good and faithful servant........

I saw this plane arrive at LAX on the Nov.14 watching from the In-N-Out. Tried to get some video but it came out crappy. Sad.

The aircraft was sold to Universal Asset Management in Tupelo Mississippi, USA. It will be dismantled and recycled.
