Ben put me on the trajectory into this dissident right sphere with The Distributist interview. It's nice to have found all these people. They verbalize what I've felt for a while. Unfortunately I'm a dumb dumb and don't know how to say what I mean. So thanks Benjamin. Unironically.

Keep open, but set your sights on the truth. Description and prescriptions need not correlate by ideology but by reason connect naturally. No one has all answers, but essentially understanding how power has and will work, will allow great insight. 🎉

Life lives on death - one of the points made by Joseph Campbell.
The current world of perpetual liberation is a world of high entropy and high energy expenditure. To return to stability means a re-embrace of least energy and reversion to basin state attractors.

I just read a post from a colleague who recounted a patient on a psych ward during the lockdowns saying it was just a flu, and the powers that be were using it to sell masks and vaccines, and how they have thought an awful lot about that patient since then. It's gob-smacking to have watched colleagues come to embrace some truly baffling ideas. I spent yesterday binge-watching The Chosen with my mom and wishing I could share her faith. I can share her values, though, and appreciate the power of the parable.

Imagine putting your rationality to death on the alter and then being able live and be-lived - by the new dramatic mythopoetic reality of the Faith. If reason flows from faith and serves it it makes sense... but the modern framing is upside-down.. faith, which is axiomatic, can not flow from reason...

I like the picture of the gardener.
Instead of the navel gazing, the constant rumination about once own identity, the attention goes outward to what is good, true and beautiful.
Man sustains the garden and the garden sustains man.
Alas, I am a german who went back to the Gymnasium so I can go to University and get a degree in electrical engeenering.
Hence my life is burdend with the studie of miserable german philosophers, who claim that identity of man is ever shifting and the gardern a mere lie.

So I hear you saying that there has to be an adult presence, though that may be characterized as masculine as that is associated with a very straight-forward, immediacy and simplicity of answering to a problem or problematic situation that may be the cause of the chaos even beyond the chaos, itself.
So to enter into the chaos is to not invest it with a value judgement in itself or something in someone else like, for instance, the child who is "in a state", but just show yourself to be there as an allie, not to punish or "kill off"the fact that now you are bothered or negatively affected by the obvious screaming disorder that presents as something crying for change or call it peace or freedom from the chaos. The immediate question or demand is What's wrong? Which calls up another demand like , well, "fix it", fast ( because its driving us or me crazy.)
When the child in question, who is melting down, can't explain his or her suffering, but what they need to know of feel is that it is "rea"l and that the Adult is picking that up as important rather than a bloody annoyance he wants to shut down or turn off.
So the father can draw the child in to a zone of "comfort" or regaining his or her own sence of internal or interior good rather than saying something say, shaming to quiet the child which only adds to pushing the child back into his inner " break with his or her sence of order( which he or she doesn't know how to frame but needs help, obviously to re-frame.)
When an adult does not know how to appreciate the need of the child over his own, especially when other people are also getting bothered and / or apt to go out of control, this is a far more " make or break" situation for the child's life than might be realized when the kid is having what we often refer to as a needless tantrum.
Many children have an unspoken bond with their father because they cue to the lower vocal pitch or the slower walking pace or the tone he presents to the other parent, and yet the father is not necessarily aware of it and may rely on the other parent to settle the child when heiss actually the one the child would pick or have at that moment to be wordlessly held and consoled by, not held in contempt or keeping his distance, like he is being the protected one and not his child.............
someone or something other than anything he could possibly have control over and so the child does sence an injustice and at least should not suffer an added insult to injury for screaming and fussing about it.
It troly helps them to maintain a sence of overall trust if they sence that an adult has the experience to have figured it out, if that is just that the child has no possible way to have had control over his own lack of control but can feel even more threatened and in need of depending on an adult to help out.

I looked at Unqualified Reservations again. I'll try to explain briefly one of the core aspects of it's horseshoet.
So this is the formalist manifesto: that the US is just a corporation. It is not a mystic trust consigned to us by the generations. It is not the repository of our hopes and fears, the voice of conscience and the avenging sword of justice. It is just an big old company that holds a huge pile of assets, has no clear idea of what it’s trying to do with them, and is thrashing around like a ten-gallon shark in a five-gallon bucket, *red ink spouting from each of its bazillion gills* .
Surely, if anything ungood remains in the world, it can be vanquished by a gigantic, heavily armed mega-charity, with H-bombs, a flag, and 250 million serfs. In fact, it’s actually rather astounding that, considering the prodigious endowments of this great philanthropic institution, it seems to do so little good.
Perhaps this has something to do with the fact that it’s run so efficiently that it hasn’t *balanced its budget since the 1830s* .
    ------------
The US Govt - Congress (lawful budget process) + Executive depts (get auth to spend) + Treasury (issues payments to recipients' banks) + Fed (routes USA payments to private banks & acct holders, and payments between)
this legal & accounting structure is THE MONOPOLY SOURCE of all (net) USA official units of financial accounting, the US Dollar. That's a stable floating non-fixed nominal-value unit on an accounting spreadsheet. Nothing more. (A paper note is a portable paper form of a bank credit.)
    NO OTHER SOURCE EXISTS.
Dollars = math + law creating units. Units which can be freely exchanged for other things.
That means so-called "taxpayers dollars" MUST flow FROM the US govt origins to taxpayers before they can flow from taxpayers back to govt.
Fiscal Deficit simply means the Govt choosing to NOT collect back tax revenue in the same amount as prior spending.
Fiscal Deficit increases net private savings. Net private savings (our fin assets) ≈≈ "National Debt" (govt Liabilities).
Balanced Fiscal budget crashes Capitalism, because Capitalists MUST PAY DEBTS ON TIME, and can't continue to pay debts by having banks create more loans aka bank-credit.
Considering that our Beast economy IMPORTS more goods and services, that means our Beast economy EXPORTS more Dollars to foreigners who want to own dollars and hold dollars. (Their surplus dollars are also stored in T-bonds aka "National Debt".)
This means that if the govt does not AT MINIMUM run a Fiscal budget Deficit ( *Red ink* ) large enough to offset the outflow to China, Saudi, etc., the economy MUST have NET CONTRACTION.

Okay, Benjamin, I am surprised. You are fasting, or you are participating in Ramadan, even some kind of watered-down version of it?
You goal is what, fasting for a mental clarity to result or something similar? Fasting, in my opinion, is fine for that.
Yet, I must tell you that I abhor the connection you are making to Ramadan. You are in essence, aligning yourself with an ideology that open states that it wants to force the entirety of humanity to follow its tenets, every last one of them, including the subjugation of those who choose not to follow it, and create a second-class of unbelievers (infidels) who must pay "non-belief" taxes and who when told to, must walk in the gutter. A class whose women can be taken from them and turned into sex slaves at the whim of the believers.
To connect what you are doing to Ramadan appalls me.
