If you turn while in the air the horse finishes the jump and doesn’t turn after you land then you can carry on with the race/thing your doing as normal x
Not that bad in my opinion. We see how great sso did the other horses, the friesians just aren't working for them which is okay. They tried, they listened to us when we complained about the gen 3 friesian (which really is horrible) and they improved it a bit. The gaits are okay when not looking from the side, what I find absolutely aweful is the jump and the pirouhette(?). I won't buy them right after they dropped but I think I will consider it. With equippement on they definitely look better.
@@TomiokaGiyuu2518 yeah but i don’t see how they could hype us up that much and then give us a worse special animation, a funky, way too high neck and a rear that is not at all better than the old friesian. as far as i know they tried to improve the friesian but all i am seeing is an improved model, not animations. especially since they were getting really good with the animations with breeds like the appaloosa, paint horse, dutch wb, selle francais and many many more! i’m honestly just very confused by this „rework“ since their latest work has been so much better and this is a downgrade from it imo. but id love to hear your opinion on this!

Kinda looks like they just took the gen 3 and refreshed it which, to be fair, greatly needed! I'm a bit disappointed in how it still has similar issues to why I hate the gen 3 so much (weird knees, low effort jump, hyper idle animations, weirdly split mane) but it is still a significant improvement which I will happily take. Thanks for the video as always!

They look amazing! Queen Uniek has come back in Star stable, shes the one with the grey forhead. Queen Uniek was a very spiecal horse , loved by many around the world. She sadly passed away this year. xxxxx

The only reanimation I remember was way after the horses release, the trakehener horse, and I don't remember anyone ever asking for that horses anims to be changed :/
I adore these Friesian models but I got the gaits, rearing, and special movement are more natural than exaggerated. Especially the rearing, I think they can take inspiration of a horse rearing like Bella from Bella Sara.

@SAMMYTASTISCH the model is definitely an upgrade from the Jorvik Friesans, though I do wish they were a bit more bulky. Even as a not so horsey person (don't really understand gaits and stuff), the jump, rear and canter look a bit off to me. Jumps for some reason have also just been animated rather poorly as of recent by sso? They always look really strange. Again, model is def an improvement, gaits could use some work. One thing i really dislike is the little hopping in place animation they added into the idle again, it's the one thing I hated the most in the Jorvik Friesans, though at least it's not as exaggerated here. I think sso needs to learn how to make more subtle idles, if that makes sense, because a lot of the newer horses seem to have very energetic idles. I don't imagine all horses jump around this much and shake irl while (correct me if I'm wrong. I'm not around horses, I know some can be particularly energetic).

I think they could add a lil more movement to the ankles especially for the special gate and move but you can tell the massive difference, first one looks cartoonish while new one looks realistic.
Yes! I am in LOVE with the new model, I personally think it is beautiful. I do feel like the head and ankles could be fixed, for the same reason that you said.
They're alright but the fact SSO kept the tippy taps (2:57) as part of the idle animation is annoying. I don't expect a horse that's standing still to move like they're anxious. - The idle is recycled from the lipizzaner and mustang. The difference is that they dont raise their front leg like the lippy does. - Gaits are not bad tbh, we've got worse. The trot is the only thing that bothers me a little cause the horse moves slower than the background. - The special movement animation ends abruptly. - Coats are amazingly done! ❤ Honestly, solid 8/10 for now. Not bad, not amazing either. I expected a bit more but ok, they're at least better than their jorvik variation.
When I saw they kept the tippy taps I literally gasped.. one of the worst things about the previous ones were how disgusting their idle animations were 😭
I will say, I don't really mind the idle animation _as_ much as I did on the gen 3 without the weirdly human facial expressions-but I definitely still have my complaints. The feathering on the legs especially, they look fine with leg wraps, but without them... They're too round, it looks odd. Also a little disappointed to see the lack of white/white marking coats as well. I know it's not "breed standard" for fresians, but aren't these fresian _sport_ horses? As far as I know, there's no limitations on coats for them. Upsetting to see the same color basically copy-pasted thrice. I'll still end up getting one, but I really don't like how they've been handling the fresians 😭

This is the definition of love and hate relationship, there are some parts that just make me go “oh eh ew” and than there’s things that are amazing, for me I think they did a AMAZING job with the hair animations and making them look like elegant horses and not silly like they did before

I was really really really hoping on a more chunky friesian. This looks like a sport friesian with its slim body and over exaggerated movements. Most friesian are chunky with short legs and a thick short neck. I was really hoping I could finally buy my friesian irl in this game🥲 I have to say that these do look better than what we got before and I really like how the neck is so high up but I just wish we could have like a “normal” horse and not a “show horse” if you know what I mean. Also the rearing and the special move kinda looks like a sims animation in a way? And the fastest gallop is also yikes. I’m just basing it off real life and I have to say that it looks kinda abnormal. Now I’m not trying to hate, I’m just thinking out loud and I’m just kinda disappointed. Will probably still buy 1 as they still look better then the previous ones and I wanna do my friesian irl a justice lol.
Im gonna be honest, as a friesian owner as well I think our horses just don't gallop right xDD Mine has NEVER galloped fully, just extended canter, I have a conspiracy that them not galloping ever is why it looks so weird lol
@@SakuraStallion mine is the complete opposite😭 he can't really canter, instead of that he just slow gallops or goes faster than that. I've never seen myself riding him on camera in a gallop but from a riders pov i can tell his neck is held high and the front legs go maybe a little bit up. But Friesians have weird gates in general, even watching a video of a Friesian galloping, it just looks off. My mom has a Hannovarian and i can NOT ride on him because of how different the gaits are and how differently they hold themselves. I guess because of a Friesians posture their body shape is kinda in an odd position including having a more hollow back (if they walk with their heads up that is). You sit in the saddle so differently. I'm not into dressage myself so i don't really know how it's like to have them bend their neck so that might be even more different than what I'm used too. I'm mainly doing trail rides so i don't really care how he holds his head or how he walks, i just let him be as natural as possible.

I disliked them when I first saw them as well, but in these spoilers they actually look good! The Friesians are a difficult breed so SSO did a good job on them overall this time, coming from a Dutchie ^-^
Seriously? Star Stable makes a FOURTH Friesian, because the Jorvik Friesians were so disliked and you're still complaining.. Yes the gaits are not perfect (the trot and canter are... off), but it is a game. What did you expect? Of course it's not going to be exactly like real life and you can definitely tell that they have put in effort for this horse. We should honestly just appreciate the team for once.
They will probably fix that, since there is still a week or so until they fully release into the game. But I think they are a major step up from the Jorvik friesian- I do wish there was a white coat variation though 😢

Mmm noo it looks fine to me. A bit bouncy but overall it's smooth. Its probably exaggerated because they felt it would feet the rest of the bouncy-like animations which I like to be honest.
A few choppy animations here and there and the rear is a bit strange but I’m thinking they’ll round those things up and clean the animations for release!! 💖💖 so so excited for them, they look amazing!!

Yup if someone told you white friesians are real they probably got that from sso xd You may also heard about albino friesian, but they also dosen't exist. Funfackt: Gray horses, know as "white" horses, have white coats and gray skin. If horse have white markings, socks or head markings or patches, they will have pink skin underneath. White horses, "true white" horses are white with pink skin, they have dominant white gen (W), usually have blue eyes. And now the most interesting there's NO ALBINOS IN HORSES! They don't exist at all! Albinos don't have any pigments in both skin, hair and eyes, with makes eye red or reddish, because blood is visible through transparent irises. It's also give albinos poor eyesight which was never observed in gray nor white horses. There you go a dose of knowledge that no one asked for! :D

I really love the model and only some of the animations look weird, which is definitely a level up from the Jorvik Frisian. Now let’s just hope they’re not as buggy as the last ones.

I think they just wanted to add some drama to the breed. Since they are used a lot in movies and TV. Get those magestic still shots on a cliff overlooking something.
I don't think they have so thin neck, but im bothered it's barely moving it. Like they couldn't lean forward, especially when rearing. Thin front legs - very yes.
the neck is actually quite thick, but they made it way too long and didnt make the shoulders big enough at all, making it look like the neck extends into the shoulders
Guys let’s remember CC does the Lord’s work bringing us previews of upcoming models, and hope that the movements aren’t quite this cursed when they release. But I agree, they’re just never quite right. I think the proportions have improved but the legs are a bit skinny, like the tail MUCH better than that chopped mess on the previous model. And I do adore how shiny and almost metallic their coats are.
sso: Lets make a large, strong, majestic looking horse breed and make it look like it floats when it moves. They really dont make their heavy horse breeds so heavy, they all look pretty light. also not to mention the sprinting and then the stupid stop that they decided to defult to. it does not suit the sprinting - stopping. the other issue is when it does its special movements, the hair will snap back, instead of blend into the idle animations. i get that this is all still "wip" but usually once cc shows it off, it rarely gets changed.
Their gaits look really stiff but I’m hoping they’ve fixed it up and they want to surprise us with cleaner animations when they come out 🤞. Definitely will buy color 4!
The thing I like more about the gen3 is that it looks more like a draft breed, which Friesians are. They call them a war breed in game, which isn't UNtrue but it's not like Friesland is known for its historical significance in battles. Farming, though, that's something we know how to do
I like ever about them other than the gaits. All of the gaits look forced and stiff. The rear makes the horse look like a skin walker. The gallop is absolutely savage though! I feel like it’s a little too fast for an elegant draft horse.
Wow they are beautiful !! They look so realistic and the animations are made beautifully. The hind leg animation is still a bit stiff but they are incredible !
So excited for it! I don't understand why people are never satisfied? They put in time and work to do the best they can, but there are always many who are dissatisfied, etc. I think it's very nice and in recent years everything has only gotten better at SSO, graphics, horses, etc. I don't mean that you can't be dissatisfied, but think they are simply mean, etc. that they are like that every time Star Stable does something. In my opinion, people need to show some gratitude and respect!

Idk if it's bc the friesian i ride irl is just one chonky boi or if they got it wrong? like, i absolutely ADORED the gen 2, hated gen3 and honestly.. gen3.5 doesn't look like a definite buy to me 😭 their extended trot is sooo nice tho, with the rocking head and everything awww and the idle, adorable but the jump... nah man, the horse just falling like always & the pirouette, oh lord
They've gone with the more sporty modern friesian rather than the more baroque traditional friesian. I think if you prefer modern or traditional is just personal preference. I too prefer baroque friesians but these are a fairly good representation of the more sporty friesians
think they just should give more time for animators the issue is just the unrealistic deadlines and sadly animators must do compromises since they are not the ones who decide
I was doing fine with the animations, noticed some small flaws but then I saw the jumps lmao and immediately cracked up! Like, dude, how can they make some of these animations even worse than the gen 3 Friesian?? **edit** When I say animations I mean there's something ~off~ with the front legs and them not being very flowy and bendy almost as if there are magnets underneath the hoofs, struggling to not stick to the ground when in canter and Galopp. It's not like too obvious from my perspective. The Galopp leading to the rear almost looks just as strange as the Gen 3 Rear, as if it's a dog and someone is holding the dog's paws up while standing and the legs being too straight.. just.. unnatural. ...The jumps speak for themselves. No mercy with this one sso; The jumps are absolute amateur work (especially during trotting and canter), and somehow the jumps keep getting worse with every horse they make! Make. Them. LAND.. And not somewhere mid jump, nor still in the air but on the actual ground, like as best as frippin' possible!... (The ugly jumps also makes it harder to estimate when you can jump again. (bunny hop)
I know friesians are light weight drafts but they still look too slim to me. Even leg wise. Maybe I'm just used to the brood mares on the friesian channel but they don't feel powerful enough.
i love them so much :,) i just hope that the canter pirouette is still getting worked on because i was looking forward to that, and it looks terrible. but either way they're beautiful and definitely better than the jorvik friesians
I absolutely adore these! Everything about their gaits and animations scream friesian! so full of confidence, they know theyre beautiful. And the realistic black coat choices, love the long braided manes too. so excited for these to release, however I am defenitly gonna have to save up starcoins for a few more weeks XD

They definitely look better than the Jorvik Friesians. I love the coats and the mane styles! The model is very pretty overall, but I do wish the legs were a bit more substantial. The movement in some of the gaits looks wonky to me so I'm hoping that gets fixed before their release. The special gait is beautiful though!
They are gorgeous! I love them and the gaits are amazing. The pirouette could use some small fixes but i do know that they aren't done yet so it will probably get fixed before they release
These friesians are so cute! There are some animations that need some fine tuning to make them look better, but the model is very accurate. When it comes to the gates it feels like trot is a tad bit faster then the ground, but it’s good otherwise. The slow and fast gallop are so majestic! My only problem is the special movement, feels like the legs need more engagement. But other than that I really like them ❤🐎 Edit: after watching the video again in slower playback speed (both 0.75 and 0.5) most of the gates looks better in slower speed, especially the walk, trot and special move. I also think the canter would look nicer if the front legs weren’t so high. But I still like the model and I hope they can fix it if they look at feedback, I wouldn’t mind waiting a week extra before their release so the sso team can fix these problems first :)

At idle they look so cute but once they start moving the hair is just…not ok.. I feel like the rear and hard stop are accurate to the breed tho, i’m also kinda upset they didn’t include a grey. I understand why but I bet it would’ve looked so cute
They are gorgeous! 😍 So beautiful But there's something that fills a bit ode. I'm not sure what, but it's something with their legs. Not exactly stiff but like they were uncomfortable? Its makes Jorvik Friesian little more fitting thats for sure. I wonder what they would look like if swap theirs animations (new video idea maybe? 👀 ) Pirouette is so flashy it's looks more like some little funny jumps. I hope sso will work with it a bit more. (They have to there is lack of frames in the end) Also is it only me or their hind legs are thicker than front ones 🤔 New mane style *chef's kiss* I'm so happy I didn't bought that new pinto now i can buy one on release. And yes one, though i have 3-1gn, 3-2gn, 2-3gen, these coats are so stunning its easier to chose!
I hate the piaff when its idle, why did they have to keep that AGAIN!? Also, notice the t-rex front legs in the small gallop. They just can't seem to get it right...
They look amazing, but im a little sad they aren't as thick as the old frezzys, i like a bit bigger horse. But ik most friesians are built like this. These are still way better then the old ones.
I’m disappointed. As a Friesian lover this hurts. The trot canter and special gait do not look like they are moving on the ground. It looks like it’s floating
the riding school where I first rode was also a Frisian breeding farm! the gaits of this horse are really perfect and so is the jump! (yes, they jump quite strangely😂) But scaffolding and the special move are quite aggressive😭
overall, huge improvement! model and coats: perfect but what is going on with the animations? the special gait, jumps, stop, slow gallop and fast gallop are good, but the walk animation needs slowed down a tiiiny bit and the trot animation too. the left front in canter needs to be fixed, its janky and clips, and doesn't have to go THAT high, also has to slow down a bit. the rear is an abomination and so is the special move, the canter pirouette of the gen 3 friesians is way better. they should completely redo the special move and rear, LESS IS MORE

Hmm don’t know what to think As someone who comes from the area they originated from I’m not too excited about them It’s not bad, just not what I see everyday when I see a Friesian outside😅 These are again sport build friesians, while the older build friesians are way more common in our country Not so stiff, sporty and modern.. old and practical build is what we see here The movements are also over the top, what’s wrong with a simple but correct movement Jumping animation just stops mid air Wished that sso would put more time in making the animation correct and not over the top for the breed Other than that, it’s a fun “new” horse but not a real Friesian that we see actually every day in this area (Not trying to say that there aren’t any friesians like this, it’s just far from common😅)
I would've loved to see friesans like yours in the game. I think a simple, practical, sturdy friesian would look like it's enjoying the training and quests with my avatar. This new one looks...stressed.

The idle dance absolutely floors me since that was a big complaint about the Jorvik Friesian. I don’t know why they’d add it yet again. It almost feels they wanted to pay a slight homage to the JF and that’s an extremely slippery slope considering how that one was received.
From all the spoiler videos I watched on new horses, NONE of the animations have changed once they got released, so I'm positive they won't change the special gaits :( Pretty sure the animations are set in stone once the models have been added to the game files. Sadly the pirouette looks very hasty and seems to be weirdly paced? The one on the old Friesans looked more natural. Overall a good looking horse model tho, better than the old one, I'll get more than one for sure!
Well, if you look at the gen 3 Friesian that we currently have, it is much better and more beautiful, they have made progress, perhaps there will be even better versions of the Friesian horse in the future

Kinda looks like they just took the gen 3 and refreshed it which, to be fair, greatly needed! I'm a bit disappointed in how it still has similar issues to why I hate the gen 3 so much (weird knees, low effort jump, hyper idle animations, weirdly split mane) but it is still a significant improvement which I will happily take. Thanks for the video as always!
yea its a pass for me. Its a nice friesian but underwhelming animation wise. After the KWPN i was hoping for something more finished for the friesian

The only reanimation I remember was way after the horses release, the trakehener horse, and I don't remember anyone ever asking for that horses anims to be changed :/
I adore these Friesian models but I got the gaits, rearing, and special movement are more natural than exaggerated. Especially the rearing, I think they can take inspiration of a horse rearing like Bella from Bella Sara.

@SAMMYTASTISCH the model is definitely an upgrade from the Jorvik Friesans, though I do wish they were a bit more bulky. Even as a not so horsey person (don't really understand gaits and stuff), the jump, rear and canter look a bit off to me. Jumps for some reason have also just been animated rather poorly as of recent by sso? They always look really strange.
Again, model is def an improvement, gaits could use some work. One thing i really dislike is the little hopping in place animation they added into the idle again, it's the one thing I hated the most in the Jorvik Friesans, though at least it's not as exaggerated here. I think sso needs to learn how to make more subtle idles, if that makes sense, because a lot of the newer horses seem to have very energetic idles. I don't imagine all horses jump around this much and shake irl while (correct me if I'm wrong. I'm not around horses, I know some can be particularly energetic).

I think they could add a lil more movement to the ankles especially for the special gate and move but you can tell the massive difference, first one looks cartoonish while new one looks realistic.
Yes! I am in LOVE with the new model, I personally think it is beautiful. I do feel like the head and ankles could be fixed, for the same reason that you said.
They're alright but the fact SSO kept the tippy taps (2:57) as part of the idle animation is annoying. I don't expect a horse that's standing still to move like they're anxious.
- The idle is recycled from the lipizzaner and mustang. The difference is that they dont raise their front leg like the lippy does.
- Gaits are not bad tbh, we've got worse. The trot is the only thing that bothers me a little cause the horse moves slower than the background.
- The special movement animation ends abruptly.
- Coats are amazingly done! ❤
Honestly, solid 8/10 for now. Not bad, not amazing either. I expected a bit more but ok, they're at least better than their jorvik variation.
When I saw they kept the tippy taps I literally gasped.. one of the worst things about the previous ones were how disgusting their idle animations were 😭
I will say, I don't really mind the idle animation _as_ much as I did on the gen 3 without the weirdly human facial expressions-but I definitely still have my complaints. The feathering on the legs especially, they look fine with leg wraps, but without them... They're too round, it looks odd.
Also a little disappointed to see the lack of white/white marking coats as well. I know it's not "breed standard" for fresians, but aren't these fresian _sport_ horses? As far as I know, there's no limitations on coats for them. Upsetting to see the same color basically copy-pasted thrice.
I'll still end up getting one, but I really don't like how they've been handling the fresians 😭

This is the definition of love and hate relationship, there are some parts that just make me go “oh eh ew” and than there’s things that are amazing, for me I think they did a AMAZING job with the hair animations and making them look like elegant horses and not silly like they did before

I was really really really hoping on a more chunky friesian. This looks like a sport friesian with its slim body and over exaggerated movements. Most friesian are chunky with short legs and a thick short neck. I was really hoping I could finally buy my friesian irl in this game🥲 I have to say that these do look better than what we got before and I really like how the neck is so high up but I just wish we could have like a “normal” horse and not a “show horse” if you know what I mean.
Also the rearing and the special move kinda looks like a sims animation in a way? And the fastest gallop is also yikes. I’m just basing it off real life and I have to say that it looks kinda abnormal.
Now I’m not trying to hate, I’m just thinking out loud and I’m just kinda disappointed. Will probably still buy 1 as they still look better then the previous ones and I wanna do my friesian irl a justice lol.
Im gonna be honest, as a friesian owner as well I think our horses just don't gallop right xDD Mine has NEVER galloped fully, just extended canter, I have a conspiracy that them not galloping ever is why it looks so weird lol

@@SakuraStallion mine is the complete opposite😭 he can't really canter, instead of that he just slow gallops or goes faster than that. I've never seen myself riding him on camera in a gallop but from a riders pov i can tell his neck is held high and the front legs go maybe a little bit up. But Friesians have weird gates in general, even watching a video of a Friesian galloping, it just looks off. My mom has a Hannovarian and i can NOT ride on him because of how different the gaits are and how differently they hold themselves.
I guess because of a Friesians posture their body shape is kinda in an odd position including having a more hollow back (if they walk with their heads up that is). You sit in the saddle so differently. I'm not into dressage myself so i don't really know how it's like to have them bend their neck so that might be even more different than what I'm used too. I'm mainly doing trail rides so i don't really care how he holds his head or how he walks, i just let him be as natural as possible.

Seriously? Star Stable makes a FOURTH Friesian, because the Jorvik Friesians were so disliked and you're still complaining.. Yes the gaits are not perfect (the trot and canter are... off), but it is a game. What did you expect? Of course it's not going to be exactly like real life and you can definitely tell that they have put in effort for this horse. We should honestly just appreciate the team for once.

Mmm noo it looks fine to me. A bit bouncy but overall it's smooth. Its probably exaggerated because they felt it would feet the rest of the bouncy-like animations which I like to be honest.
A few choppy animations here and there and the rear is a bit strange but I’m thinking they’ll round those things up and clean the animations for release!! 💖💖 so so excited for them, they look amazing!!

And now the most interesting there's NO ALBINOS IN HORSES! They don't exist at all!
Albinos don't have any pigments in both skin, hair and eyes, with makes eye red or reddish, because blood is visible through transparent irises. It's also give albinos poor eyesight which was never observed in gray nor white horses.

Frezzies don’t have much floof IRL, just a tiny bit of feathering on the hooves and their long flowing manes.

I think they just wanted to add some drama to the breed. Since they are used a lot in movies and TV. Get those magestic still shots on a cliff overlooking something.

I don't think they have so thin neck, but im bothered it's barely moving it. Like they couldn't lean forward, especially when rearing. Thin front legs - very yes.

the neck is actually quite thick, but they made it way too long and didnt make the shoulders big enough at all, making it look like the neck extends into the shoulders

Guys let’s remember CC does the Lord’s work bringing us previews of upcoming models, and hope that the movements aren’t quite this cursed when they release. But I agree, they’re just never quite right. I think the proportions have improved but the legs are a bit skinny, like the tail MUCH better than that chopped mess on the previous model. And I do adore how shiny and almost metallic their coats are.
The way the tail moves looks horrible though. It looks ok standing but as soon as it starts moving the entire horse looks injured and sick.
sso: Lets make a large, strong, majestic looking horse breed and make it look like it floats when it moves. They really dont make their heavy horse breeds so heavy, they all look pretty light. also not to mention the sprinting and then the stupid stop that they decided to defult to. it does not suit the sprinting - stopping. the other issue is when it does its special movements, the hair will snap back, instead of blend into the idle animations. i get that this is all still "wip" but usually once cc shows it off, it rarely gets changed.
Their gaits look really stiff but I’m hoping they’ve fixed it up and they want to surprise us with cleaner animations when they come out 🤞. Definitely will buy color 4!

The thing I like more about the gen3 is that it looks more like a draft breed, which Friesians are. They call them a war breed in game, which isn't UNtrue but it's not like Friesland is known for its historical significance in battles. Farming, though, that's something we know how to do

I like ever about them other than the gaits. All of the gaits look forced and stiff. The rear makes the horse look like a skin walker. The gallop is absolutely savage though! I feel like it’s a little too fast for an elegant draft horse.

So excited for it! I don't understand why people are never satisfied? They put in time and work to do the best they can, but there are always many who are dissatisfied, etc. I think it's very nice and in recent years everything has only gotten better at SSO, graphics, horses, etc.
I don't mean that you can't be dissatisfied, but think they are simply mean, etc. that they are like that every time Star Stable does something.

They've gone with the more sporty modern friesian rather than the more baroque traditional friesian. I think if you prefer modern or traditional is just personal preference. I too prefer baroque friesians but these are a fairly good representation of the more sporty friesians

When I say animations I mean there's something ~off~ with the front legs and them not being very flowy and bendy almost as if there are magnets underneath the hoofs, struggling to not stick to the ground when in canter and Galopp. It's not like too obvious from my perspective.
The Galopp leading to the rear almost looks just as strange as the Gen 3 Rear, as if it's a dog and someone is holding the dog's paws up while standing and the legs being too straight.. just.. unnatural.
...The jumps speak for themselves. No mercy with this one sso; The jumps are absolute amateur work (especially during trotting and canter), and somehow the jumps keep getting worse with every horse they make!
Make. Them. LAND.. And not somewhere mid jump, nor still in the air but on the actual ground, like as best as frippin' possible!...
(The ugly jumps also makes it harder to estimate when you can jump again. (bunny hop)
I know friesians are light weight drafts but they still look too slim to me. Even leg wise. Maybe I'm just used to the brood mares on the friesian channel but they don't feel powerful enough.

I absolutely adore these! Everything about their gaits and animations scream friesian! so full of confidence, they know theyre beautiful. And the realistic black coat choices, love the long braided manes too. so excited for these to release, however I am defenitly gonna have to save up starcoins for a few more weeks XD

They definitely look better than the Jorvik Friesians. I love the coats and the mane styles! The model is very pretty overall, but I do wish the legs were a bit more substantial. The movement in some of the gaits looks wonky to me so I'm hoping that gets fixed before their release. The special gait is beautiful though!

These friesians are so cute! There are some animations that need some fine tuning to make them look better, but the model is very accurate. When it comes to the gates it feels like trot is a tad bit faster then the ground, but it’s good otherwise. The slow and fast gallop are so majestic! My only problem is the special movement, feels like the legs need more engagement. But other than that I really like them ❤🐎
Edit: after watching the video again in slower playback speed (both 0.75 and 0.5) most of the gates looks better in slower speed, especially the walk, trot and special move. I also think the canter would look nicer if the front legs weren’t so high. But I still like the model and I hope they can fix it if they look at feedback, I wouldn’t mind waiting a week extra before their release so the sso team can fix these problems first :)
Or they just release them and fix it in the while in the game because i can not wait any longer i need the fourth one so bad

i think sso really tried to get the same vibe that the previous gen (before 3) friesans had.. the canter pirouette is way too fast, and the legs seems almost too thin. otherwise it’s such a big improvement!!

At idle they look so cute but once they start moving the hair is just…not ok.. I feel like the rear and hard stop are accurate to the breed tho, i’m also kinda upset they didn’t include a grey. I understand why but I bet it would’ve looked so cute

Pirouette is so flashy it's looks more like some little funny jumps. I hope sso will work with it a bit more. (They have to there is lack of frames in the end)

I hate the piaff when its idle, why did they have to keep that AGAIN!? Also, notice the t-rex front legs in the small gallop. They just can't seem to get it right...

They look amazing, but im a little sad they aren't as thick as the old frezzys, i like a bit bigger horse. But ik most friesians are built like this. These are still way better then the old ones.
I think they focussed on modern friesians instead of classical friesians (which I think you'd prefer).

My jaw dropped on how pretty this horse was
I’m disappointed. As a Friesian lover this hurts. The trot canter and special gait do not look like they are moving on the ground. It looks like it’s floating
the riding school where I first rode was also a Frisian breeding farm! the gaits of this horse are really perfect and so is the jump! (yes, they jump quite strangely😂)
But scaffolding and the special move are quite aggressive😭
overall, huge improvement! model and coats: perfect but what is going on with the animations? the special gait, jumps, stop, slow gallop and fast gallop are good, but the walk animation needs slowed down a tiiiny bit and the trot animation too. the left front in canter needs to be fixed, its janky and clips, and doesn't have to go THAT high, also has to slow down a bit. the rear is an abomination and so is the special move, the canter pirouette of the gen 3 friesians is way better. they should completely redo the special move and rear, LESS IS MORE

As someone who comes from the area they originated from I’m not too excited about them
It’s not bad, just not what I see everyday when I see a Friesian outside😅
These are again sport build friesians, while the older build friesians are way more common in our country
Not so stiff, sporty and modern.. old and practical build is what we see here
The movements are also over the top, what’s wrong with a simple but correct movement
Jumping animation just stops mid air
Wished that sso would put more time in making the animation correct and not over the top for the breed
Other than that, it’s a fun “new” horse but not a real Friesian that we see actually every day in this area
(Not trying to say that there aren’t any friesians like this, it’s just far from common😅)
I would've loved to see friesans like yours in the game. I think a simple, practical, sturdy friesian would look like it's enjoying the training and quests with my avatar. This new one looks...stressed.
oh. my. god. the head is literally so perfect i could cry🥹🥹 and the fastest gallop looks so dynamic yet elegant, i love it😍 and ofc they’re not 100% perfect but everything i hated about the older model is either gone/changed or just doesn’t look as bad on this one (like the special movement)🥹😍 so excited
The fact that some people like these better than the gen 3 is SOO weird to me. I gotta give sso credit, they are very talented but…what is this 😭😭😭 when it’s standing still I think it’s cute. One more thing, I thought it was horribly unrealistic in the gen 3 that in the idle they start prancing and they added it AGAIN, agh
The idle dance absolutely floors me since that was a big complaint about the Jorvik Friesian. I don’t know why they’d add it yet again. It almost feels they wanted to pay a slight homage to the JF and that’s an extremely slippery slope considering how that one was received.

From all the spoiler videos I watched on new horses, NONE of the animations have changed once they got released, so I'm positive they won't change the special gaits :( Pretty sure the animations are set in stone once the models have been added to the game files. Sadly the pirouette looks very hasty and seems to be weirdly paced? The one on the old Friesans looked more natural. Overall a good looking horse model tho, better than the old one, I'll get more than one for sure!

the only friesian i like is the gen 2, the gates on it were amazing and high point.
Well, if you look at the gen 3 Friesian that we currently have, it is much better and more beautiful, they have made progress, perhaps there will be even better versions of the Friesian horse in the future
