At the end of 1990, 116 Mirage F.1 EQ fighters were in service with the Iraqi Air Force. These fighters could also use Soviet Kh-29 air-to-surface missiles.

Wow. Fantastic is the word. That dark grey with the white pre shade came out excellent. Worth a try on my next grey kit. Lovely bit of weathering. And the final photos are classy

Awesome work! A few years back, there was somoene in my class who's father used to fly these and was himself involved in the Iran-Iraq war. He was shot down during that time by AAA.

You did a great job building an excellent kit. Did you have any problems fitting the top and bottom wings? I had to sand the bottom halves on my Moroccan F1CH to make them fit smooth.

The Iraqi Mirages ( Pilots and ground crew ) had done so much and sacrificed everything.. till now they are hunted and chased down.. I believe it’s worth it giving them a respect and a salute.

Not this aircrafts attacked the USS Stark ... it was a modified Falcon 50 ( Cockpit was modified split into half civilian and the other half Mirage F1 and the raddar radom too ) see Magazine : Le Fana de Aviation issue no : 603 for further details .
