One of your best - if not the best - videos of 2024. We're so lucky to have this loco - arguably a member of a class that was the pinnacle of steam traction in the UK - to enjoy as it does what it was built to do.
Steam locomotives in the snow just seems too perfect to me its like living in an old photo you see from 60s of them in deep snow very nostalgic feeling even tho i was never around in the era of steam but just something about it feels nostalgic
Great A2 Loco '- to my mind the best livery BR Blue with a Blood and Custard Rake - great winter atmospherics - great sequences. What could be better . Thank you for your efforts.

Great video and steam train looks even better in the snow. Most modern trains would have seized to operate in these weather conditions, but this just soldier's on.

I saw her this evening (20/11) steaming through Sowerby Bridge on route to Rugby. A magnificent sight.

Hi Ben, there’s lots of information on social media, railcam, realtimetrains etc.. Also following the railtour operators websites helps also. 👍

What is that sound that the loco makes from the funnel when stationary? Nice video by the way.
I believe that may be to do with the air brakes fitted during her overhaul

That was a slightly strange whistle.. Can’t say I’ve heard that tone with catching Blue Peter a few times this year 🤷♂️
