Currently painting this miniature. I’m using a different paint scheme, but I really love what you’ve done here. The yellow/orange mandibles are particularly cool.
RealmSmith - Great job, looks awesome. I have one in-hand and will be embarking on that journey shortly. I would love to see a listing of the paints that you used in the video within the comments section. This way I don't necessarily have to fast forward through the video to remember what paints were used. Again...this isn't the end of the world and to me would just be a 'cherry on top' to what you are already doing.
Omg this umberhulk looks amazing! I keep trying and trying and trying to get my minis to come out as amazing as these, but no matter how many tutorials i watch and how many minis i paint - i feel like i just don’t have an ounce of talent for mini painting :(
If you're like me and don't want to ruin your expensive minis on practicing, go to the dollar store and get a couple packs of the army men to practice on. You can also find barn animals and such. Michael's and Hobby Lobby also have tubes of play animals as well including dragons. Here's a tip that I learned from Black Magic Craft (ua-cam.com/video/PFJZeauUW-M/v-deo.html) about priming minis, it should work with these cheap plastic toys.
Love the tutorial, you make it look so easy with those techniques and the results are great. I'm about to try and paint a tortle model so think I'll use a similar colour scheme for the shell. What sort of sealant to you use? Keep up the good work bud

Really nicely done!
Great video - really good job! Painting and video work!
Thanks!! Glad you enjoyed it
Absolutely amazing!!
Thanks!
Looks awesome
Nicely done! I would love to see it in a more copper/metal color, like a beetle is shining like in the picture.
Came out so well! Keep up the great tutorials. I'll keep sending people your way ;)
Thanks Vanessa! Much more to come ;)
Great work!
If you get a heat gun it works much better than hot water for bending plastic minis back into place.
Good call, we'll have to pick one up!

Thanks! We use Testers dullcote spray lacquer or Citadel's purity seal spray
Very nice work, isn't this called an Ambull elsewhere?
Zero dislikes. Good job.
I will be utilising this soon. Hope I don’t screw it up.
What type brushes are you using and size is the fine brush?
I’m using citadel brushes and he finest is the artificer layer brush.
Does anyone know what book he is using right here?
Can you paint fomorian next
We’ll see what we can do. Promises are hard to make with all the content we’re still working on :)
Pronounced 'kahy-tin'. Close man =P I love the paint job, I hope I can do it justice.
