About this episode:
Thomas Flight and Tom van der Linden discuss the Indian blockbuster that is taking the world by storm: RRR, and examine how it tells a universally appealing story in a unique way, how it portrays the power of friendship, and how historic tales of heroism and liberation relate to present day politics.

You say the movie is political and yet you don't know anything about the Indian political scenario. Wonder if you guys were paid to do this. I am Indian and I did not see anything political in the movie.
Please just use Telugu film vs calling it Tollywood and all that, which is demeaning and incomprehensible (there are over 22 major languages and hundreds of minor languages in India).
The disguised Ram took at the end was the real outfit of alluri sitarama, and the pictures of legends in the end are not leaders of politicians but revolutionaries of India, you should say you haven’t done much research before saying it’s propaganda, other than that, nice review guys
If you want to see masterpiece Indian Movie. Watch - Tumbbad (2018)
The Indian guy who provided "context" for Patrick Willhelm, and other print media reviews were very wrong about the so-called political or religious context. Asinine takes.

As someone with a neutral political view, I would like to let you know that Indian religion (Hindu, Buddhist, Sikh, Jain, etc.) and Indian culture overlap so you can't differentiate each other.
