- Deepak Chopra, M.D., F.A.C.P., is the author of more than 75 books, including numerous New York Times bestsellers. His medical training is in internal medicine and endocrinology, and he is a Fellow of the American College of Physicians, a member of the American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists, and an adjunct professor at the Kellogg School of Management Executive Education at Northwestern University. Super lecture, thank you so much, Deepak. I can talk with ants. The walked over my kitchen, where I made vegatables, and I could not miss te ants. So I talked to them: I have nothing in my kitchen for you, so please don’t walk on my work table, I cannot miss you cutting my vegatables. Next day, 3 ants. After day no more ants, now 25 years no ants . Now I feed them outsite in the garden.
I still come back to this masterpiece year after year and amazed each and every time. Thank you, sir🙏🏽!

This is some heavy Chopra chit! I love his voice and way of talking. Thoughts are things......they have wings.

Mr Chopra speaks the truth! An enlightened society will not happen from a physics textbook. You need to speak to people as if they are equals not in a confrontational - fashion, this is obvious. Mr Chopra explains cosmology on a basic illuminating level. if you cannot get over your fear of the Oneness of all you will not be able to comprehend him.
Chopra is up there with faith healers for credibility. Physicists seek the truth whatever that may be. It's just unfortunate for chopra that the truth is not in alignment with the rubbish he peddles. Give him credit though he does use the buzz words.
Rationalist Society And, you know this why? Through actual experience, or just through what you personally believe is possible? Acid reflux, carpal tunnel, bi-polar depression, arthritic pain, and a decades old growth... these are all things that I've eliminated completely (4) or reduced (1) through meditation. There's not a whole lot the body isn't capable of. We just have to figure out how to initialize it.

Hahahaha, it's very interesting reading your comments specially those against Mr Deepak Chopra. I just seat back and relax and analize the whole scenario. On one end I found you, who I dont know and I wonder about your background on the topic that Mr Deepak is speaking about. On the other end I found Mr Deepak, a DR; scintist with more than 75 books. I also found Mrs Elizabeth Blackman,novel price, Mr Rusy Tanzy, etc; etc; etc. So I came to a humble and simple conclusion, I'll believe Mr Deepak who in the beggining of the lecture commands us to go and investigate about his speech. Well my friends this is what I like about this country we all can express our thoughts.

Photons of different wavelengths target different photo-pigments in the cells of the eye... that should explain the perception of different colors. What is sweet? What is Blue? Is why and appropriate question over how?
+Pat H too theoretical. Moreover, rods and cones still don't explain how when colorless photons enter 4 mm pupil of our eyes - a colorful three dimensional world is visible. So called modern science is still primitive, too theoretical and does not understand who the real observer is.

Mind and Brain are related. The mind is an embodies a relationship with the body all process that regulates the process of all body. Very mysteriously we are exchanging ideas with simple firing of nuerons, we have receptors to every cell of our body. Your guy makes the same molecules that your brain cells use to make a decision.

39 minutes in, where he goes into his "Artificial intelligence is nothing but algorithms" spew, is one place where Chopra shows himself at his worst.
I now withdraw what I said below, to James Irwin, about Chopra not being dishonest. He is clearly as dishonest as the day is long -- or at minimum wrong, and living in self-deception about his own powers of observation and reasoning.
On mathematics and algorithms, he utters sentence after sentence after sentence -- all of them empirically, hard-visible-reality, verifiable and Popper-falsifiable sentences -- and all of them wrong. Simple sleep-walking dreams in his head, having nothing to do with mathematics and algorithms as used in every day life by all of us.
I'm now solidly with Georgi: the guy's a blithering fraud.
I guess that's why they're called "fakirs." I'll continue to use him, with some care, as a meditation guide.
