- Try This Smoked Mushroom Alfredo Recipe You Can't Resist!
Chef Tom took on the challenge of creating an amazing smoked dish recipe using only plant-based (vegan) ingredients, and he delivered. In this video, he shows us how to make smoked mushroom alfredo. Using cashews and nutritional yeast, Chef Tom creates traditional alfredo flavors that will have you doing a double-take because they are just that good! He also smokes mushrooms to add texture, and you honestly won't know this doesn't have any dairy or meat in it. Don't worry; we won't shame you if you add a little bit of chicken. ;-)

Interesting. Why “believe it or not”? I know a ton of people. One is a salmon-enjoying vegetarian. Everyone else enjoys ALL the foods. This dish looks great, btw. Adding it to the shortlist!

I’ve been hot smoking baby Bella mushrooms for a while now and created a new condiment 😂
I am happy to see that someone else knows how fantastic smoked mushrooms are
EVOO & S/P and leave the caps whole - lay them out on the grill stem up and offset hot smoke for a generous 1/2 hour
Cool and slice out
I use them in salads- on pizza - added to pasta dishes etc etc
Made a quasi chicken tender stroganoff with the mushrooms added at the end 😱🤗

Actual alfredo has no cream at all. Its butter, parmigian cheese, and pasta water.
If that's actual Alfredo, then I don't want actual Alfredo.
@@rsybing It tastes great if its prepared correctly. The Italian-American one, which you're talking about, is tasty as well.....its just not actual alfredo.

Chef. Parmesan cheese has no lactose content, 0, nada. It’s the cream that will get you.
