Leola is very autistic coded, and I absolutely adore her! But it also makes me wonder why she got a death sentence for giving humans Primordial magic while her father, who's done much worse, was imprisoned (in the crater where Leola fell, that he filled with his tears, inside a pearl that looked like his old home when she was alive inside; like they're trying to rub salt on the wound). If Leola broke the Cosmic Order, then Aaravos damaged it beyond repair, and yet she definitely hadn't left their minds by the time Aaravos' punishment came; it just feels like they're holding a vendetta against a kid that wouldn't follow their rules blindly, even well after they killed her.

I would alsso point out how it was the dragons and the other elves to seal aaravos, not the star touched ones. Literally they let aaravos roaming the world and plotting revenge without caring about the damages.

Good afternoon @@nonhotrovatounnomemigliore9221 , actually Aaravos is revengefully wanting to watch the StarToch Elves fall from the universe to Xadia and than watch everything they built get destroyed in their faces.

@@spencerpalmer4961 that was clear, but my point wasn't about aaravos vengeful plan but rather pointing out how the other star touched elves have done nothing to stop the guy. It was the dragons and the other races of elves who stopped aaravos, not the star touched ones.

*(Spoilers for anyone who hasn't seen the new episodes yet).*
I just finished binge-watching the new season with my brother (I definitely think it was The Dragon Prince's strongest so far, it really exceeded my expectations), and this had to be one of the most heartbreaking flashbacks of the show so far, although I was definitely still geeking out a little bit over the representation (both my brother and I are autistic). I'm really curious, because we were told just a few episodes prior that it's not supposed to be possible to kill Startouch elves, but Leola receives a death sentence for giving humanity their first primal stones. I wonder if we'll get to see more of her somehow? I also totally forgot that she had already been name-dropped in the show, where we find out that the elves call the south star Leola's Last Wish.
The whole backstory was incredibly tragic, I definitely understand why Aaravos would spend the rest of his existence wanting revenge against the dragon who sold his daughter out to a bunch of uncaring gods; but I do have to remind myself that part of Aaravos' tragedy is that he isn't even the same person who loved his child more than life itself anymore. A consistent thing the show's tried to hammer home (more gracefully at some times than others) is how choosing vengeance changes a person. Aaravos went from being someone who offered his own life for his kid's, to someone who tricked Viren into making a kid with him specifically for sacrificing them for a dark ritual. He's so bent on vengeance at all costs now that he's willing to do anything, even if it's literally the opposite of what he would have done before his life was ruined. It does really bother me that the story feels like it's been fairly consistent with the way it's treated every character who seeks revenge for their family besides Zubeia, who put a hit on a child purely as a tit for tat when she thought her egg had been destroyed, and it still feels like that's hardly even been addressed; heck, I can't even think of a time when she hasn't been portrayed sympathetically. Like, she wanted to kill a kid who had absolutely nothing to do with the death of her mate and what she thought was the death of her only child, and that's sort of water under the bridge; but Aaravos wants the dragon who's directly responsible for his daughter's murder to die, and that's shown like it's a step too far. It just feels inconsistent, that's all. The other awful thing is that most of the other characters we've seen do messed up stuff for their families at least had the option to do something to save them, all Aaravos had the power to do for Leola was comfort her in her last moments. Also, how freaking messed up is it that he was imprisoned in a place meant to look like the house he raised his daughter in, inside a pearl hidden in the sea he created by grieving her for a century? Like, gees Louise.
I was totally cheering for Viren this season, though; I definitely didn't expect that, the dude died an actual hero, talk about a redemption arc.

Despite being the daughter of a tragic vengeful villain, Leola may have been a true teacher of magic.

@@thetruekingofwafflesheck, he even killed Viren (who he claimed to have tried so hard to help). He even smiled when he saw Viren die as well. Also, a less noticed detail, Viren is the first person Sol Regem breathes fire on, and Soren is the second. Viren dies when the castle collapses on him, but Soren survives the blast because of the spell. Then, the fire aims for all the other people. But it’s important because after killing Viren, Aaravos DELIBERATELY tries to kill Soren as well. This is to wipe out all of Claudia’s positive influences so the only person she will listen to is him, since all other voices would be silenced. I have no doubt he will try to kill Terry next in some fashion. Hope Claudia sees through him before she loses everyone she loved

Magic, excitement, comedy, drama, action, fantasy, thrills, and adventures. Leola, the daughter of Aaravos who used to call her his unicorn because she was born with only horn on her forehead, was pure, warm-hearted, and unique. She cared for animals and humans. Aaravos was happy and proud of her. Indeed, life was good until Leola was taken from him by the council of Startouch elves because she broke the Cosmic Order. Her punishment was death. It's so sad and unfair. And Rayla is still risking her life for her family, Runaan, Lain and Tiadrin ⭐🌟🌠✴🪄🧝🧝‍♂🧝‍♀
