Hey guys, I will be sharing with you what it is like being a kindergarten teacher in China. I will be giving you a tour of the school and will be sharing moments in the classroom with my students.

Do you have to come up with ideas for class activities or does the school do that and you just help with them? How does a kindergarten work there?
It looks like you help a lot with other activities and then some classes teach yourself directly?
I am a home room teacher, so I am with the students all day, and I have to assist them with other classes. Myself, along with the head Chinese English teacher, assistant teacher and baby care teacher are task with tending to the students and ensuring that the time table for the day has been completed. The foreign teacher must also assist with day to day activities, along with having English class twice for the day. At times, we are told what is expected from us, and we come up with the ideas and execute them as best as we can. All kindergartens operate differently and use different curriculums. It’s basically play based learning and hands on learning.
Can you understand students language when they are talking in chines?
Hi, at first, not really. But now I can understand more since I’m trying to learn Mandarin.

I get over 15000.

Hi, that’s awesome. 😊 I would say to do extensive research. Before signing a contract, weigh your options and choose the best offer. Try to reach out to others to hear their experiences. Try to do some investigation on the city and school that you might be going to. Ask questions, anything that you are not sure about, get clarification. Do not accept anything that makes you uncomfortable or let the recruiter manipulate you to accept terms that you don’t like.
