To get rid of the black bars,
go to scaling mode in the same display tab where you created the custom resolution preset.
Switch the scaling mode to full panel!

I have not tried it but I think if you do change it, it will still have black bars, its really not worth for the tiny stretched you'll get. just play native or just switch it in game and have black bars
