With the world so crazy, I only listen you your podcast daily when I'm walking my dog around the park. The laughs I get are like a healing medicine for me at this point in my life. I've been a long-time fan of you both, especially back when you were both relevant and funny, many years ago.
The evolution of this podcast is interesting. The fact that Ed actually hosted SNL was only casually mentioned in a 5 second blurb at the very end of the show. 😂
Thats so weird. When my wife and i watch old Twighlight Zones we try and guess the ages of the actors and its amazing how they are so young compared to what we now see them as.
My aunt used to like to use the expression "up the yingyang" but I didn't know what that meant because the context in which she used it never made any sense. .. still don't know why she used it, nor what it means. 🤷🏼
I wanted to know... What was the set of the Office like after Steve Carrell left the show (i.e. when Will Farrell, James Spader, and others circulated in & out)?
That was great. I think it's the makings of a great bit. "Close your windows, you've never seen windows close like that". I would love a bit like that, and im MAGA all the way.
Haha it has to be at this point. Any former democrats out there that got left behind many years ago?? I was pro-democrat, not pro-communist. So they lost my support
This is not a political pod. I'm #TeamKamala all the way, and love these guys. I am open to hearing all views, but not open to uneducated racists' opinions. These artists are not - and I love them.
Ed seems like the kind of guy you wouldn’t mind sitting next to while the flight is delayed. Some people freak out and get super annoying. Ed would probably be chill unless he had diarrhea or something.
I think the super serious guests getting way too deep in the weeds into banal detail have to realize that the flies on this wall need to be entertained. At the very least show us why you are funny, beyond telling us that you passed an audition.
Crist sakes spudley, another I got famous by happenstance story here ahhh. What are we ground hog day here? Sulfur lad, Beni Hanna…blitzkrieg bop. Glad he didn’t go into the adhd sales pitch like on Neil’s pod.
OK. ONCE AND FOR ALL: I can’t believe I have to explain comedy to you two clowns. The reason the “broccoli” skit was so funny…so effing funny…..is that it captures the ridiculous self importance of those rock singers who would do ballads. Like I could hear Stephen Tyler being all self important about his stupid little personal life things that he tries to turn into a ballad by using vocal tropes. THATS what that skit was about. How could you guys not see this? The parody? It’s baffling to me how you don’t see it.
Ed is funny. Still waiting for Carrel to tell a joke. Maybe he’s a better “writer”. Stewart was never funny. You can tell Dana and David would naturally have everyone breathless fro laughing in real life and have to dial back. Big diff between, “I’m funny and need to find an outlet.” And “gee I think I’d like to try being a comedian.”
55lbs of meat? I seriously doubt it. But as a former opioid addict I can attest that the Elvis story might be partly true. Those drugs can bind you up pretty bad.
Ed seems to be a decent fellow and I enjoy his work.
Butterfly stroke is DIFFICULT! Mad props to you Ed!
Yea that's extremely awkward and uncomfortable, never could really do it.

More Carson intros please
Yeah! Need more Carson and Dennis

Ugh, no way. Dana defers to his impressions wayyy too often, and they're off most of the time because he doesn't commit to them.

Yall sound like you're having way to much fun... and I dig it.

Exactly :/
"Dana's into pulses and things..." hahah
Wilford Brimley was 50 as a retiree in a Florida senior community in Cocoon.
David Spade was 55 [?] in The Wrong Missy.
Loved the wrong Missy
@@WilliamSilva-dq6zj Loved her; David's part was miscast [I hate to say it].
@@leonardshevlin7260 nah he really made it opposite but just under the surface freaky enough that he would go for a girl like that!😉

That is a very kind face
Great interview. Would've loved to hear more about his time hosting SNL
Had a nice Listen, Gave a Like. Funny channel, great guest!
Steve Carrell is from Massachusetts and Colbert was born in DC and grew up in South Carolina, but Dana kept claiming they were Midwestern.
Great episode
Seriously, what happened to the video component? Did I miss a memo? Thanks in advance for clue-ing me in. ❤
That's their other podcast. This one has always been sans video I believe.
@@theJohnGaltLine Oh... thanks... cheers!
Love Dana Biden.
Love the way he says kamala
Yes David, Ellen’s brother. I was surprised, I never realized he did this
Hangover movies are classic .
Ed is a great guest! Funny and informative.

Ed Helms went to Oberlin, like Steve Carell.
Oberlin = Mighty Gay
@@Jaycole32 That was the reputation forty years ago when I was at another Ohio college.

Damn, Ed didn't recognize David as a comedian and David basically went silent for the rest of the podcast. 😂 😅 😄
I don’t think a lot of people knew that bc David spade is a much bigger movie start than he is a standup although he’s a fantastic standup
Judge Napolitano is trouncing you guys!
This was my favorite episode!
We need more "Trump tech support."Hilarious.

Dafuq?

Ed is fucking cool, this was a gas.
Ed Helm. Funny but it seems like he really never had his masterpiece role yet. Hangover was ok and I can see his talent.

Spade checked out right away. I think he knew Ed is not funny or interesting.
I remember that guy.. punched a wall in the Office and torpedoed the brand
Dana still trying to get his Biden impression in

Resting heart rate 48, but 34 Dana?. That's incredible, to be young again I'm sorry that your youthful at home heart rate was 134.

If you have to EXPLAIN the bits.... (just pass, they won't get it)
I find these interviews boring.
I find that even so, you are taking the time to comment. Which is comedy. So, thank you.

Yeah if they put video n had Theo on people would watch
Holy christ, does Ed finish any of his sentences? I've never listened to such a frustrating speaker. It's almost Newhart-like.
Some of the best uncomfortable comedy interviews was Ed Helms on the Daily show.
No video this time?
Oh great! My least favourite The Office actor.
Dana must be watching lots of right-wing media if he is still mispronouncing Kamala at this point!
Odd take, but okay...
He's a comedian... it wouldn't be funny if it was pronounced correctly. Pronounced it in Borat's voice. Lol😅😅😅😅
Why can't Dana pronounce Kamala's name properly?...is he doing it on purpose?
People mispronounce it on purpose because the reaction is so hilarious. It's like a brainwashed programming error.
Because who gives a shit about her
@@MyUA-cam5027 I find it a "tell"...When people know that they have been beaten...they respond like 6 year-old children would.

Your disappointment is hilarious
He left out her title, Comrade, also. Sorry you had to endure the blatant disrespect for that precious angel.
I feel sad & mildly embarrassed that somewhere there’s a UA-camr posting videos about farts that is consistently getting more views than your podcast.
