- Watch me make these 3D sculpted Kirby nails inspired by Kirby in Dreamland! This was my favorite game as a kid, and I was excited to use it as inspiration for these character nails using some of my new Tiny Korean gels from @Zillabeau. All of the products I used along with the Etsy listing to buy this set as press ons are linked down below 🥰 Thank you for checking out my video!

Love kirby 🥰
I've also always through Kirby's character design very funny given the origin story. He's based off a real person, Nintendo's original lawyer that helped them win a copyright case for Donkey Kong.
That's so funny; I didn't know that! I suppose it's a bit fitting with the stereotype of lawyers being ruthless. Thanks for sharing 😊
These are the cutest!🩷
Thank you so much for watching! 🥰
Absolutely stunning, your work is amazing and you worth every Penny you charge. Charge your worth 🥰🥰
Aw thank you so much, Ms. Jeanie! I appreciate your kind words and support on the premiere 🥰
I especially loved the little Kirby on the moon!
Thank you, Kathy! I had a ton of fun with this set 😊
This is such a cute set! I think your art is worth more! Definitely more than 100$ for this set. The fact that they are wearable art, that could be used and worn many times(with proper care) makes them worth a higher price. Definitely I think $300 is reasonable. Especially with all the time are care you put into them. I think you should’nt accept anything below $250. For ANY of your beautiful sets!! 🥰 People will pay it! I really believe that.
Aw thank you so much, Evelyn, love! I always have a hard time justifying high prices for my work, even at my actual job, but I'm slowly getting better at it 😊 Thanks for stopping by, and I hope your dog is doing well 🥰
@@GetPressedNailsByC I know what you mean! As I have gotten older I feel more and more comfortable asking for more money and feeling like I deserve more. My time is very valuable to me now and if I’m going to work, it better be worth my time! ☺️ even if you love your work, it’s still work and still your time; so you deserve more! 🫶 My pup is great! You’re so sweet for asking! ☺️
@@evelyncompton7089 That's a good way to look at it! I'm turning 30 in a month, and that definitely has me reevaluating my time and what I want to spend it on most.
phenomenal work! this is one of the prettiest sets i've ever seen.
Thank you so much, love! That is seriously so kind of you to say 🥲🥰
Once again, these are super cute! 🥰 You put so much effort and work into these, I don't see why you should be undercharging yourself! The end product is amazing and high quality, and right people will definitely be able to value everything that's been put into bringing it to life 😁
Thank you so much! I just always feel bad charging high prices, especially in this economy, but I'm slowly getting used to asking my worth. I appreciate you checking out my video 🥰
I loooveddd harvest moon! I always wanted to date the mermaid too but never could... it was so much work 😮💨
Yes, she was so picky 🤣 I never made it to marriage with her either. Thank you for checking out my video 🥰
They have airbrush gels/paints made for nails. Rebecca Ramsdale is a great nail tech/artist. I see her using the OneAir brand all the time. She does a lot of airbrush so if you're interested in getting into the airbrushing maybe watch some of her videos if you haven't before. And try the OneAir. These Kirby nails are adorable 🥰 I love watching your nail content!
Thank you so much, I'll have to check her out! I'd love to do airbrushing more if it wasn't such a hassle, but if that brand has premixed paints, that would make it easier. I also got some pigments that I'm excited to try. I appreciate you watching my video 🥰
I love this set so much - it’s such a fun design and you executed the 3D elements so well. The balance of the ombré nails with the sculpted designs fits together so perfectly too 🥹🫶🏻
& the Kirby too !!! Oh my goshhhh, the accuracy is so cute I want to squeeze it hahah 😤
I also relate on being a sweets person! Especially for anything white chocolate and/or pistachio 🥹
I also understand the conflict of pricing when it comes to press-ons. But I think it’s really important to value your time and energy as an artist (esp when balancing with a full-time job) - the people that like your work, see the value and have the expendable money will support you. Press-ons are reusable too.
Thank you for sharing your work and cant wait to see more designs 💗
Yes if you are going to use an air brush PLEASE use the airbrush paints and nothing else. They are easy to clean with running alcohol through them. They ombre extremely easily. Practice first so you get used to the paint and air combo.
Yes this! 👏 When I first got an airbrush, most of the first recommended tutorials talked about mixing gel with acetone to thin it out. I think it's just that science is now really catching up with the DIYers, and we're learning what is really safe. Hopefully others can avoid the same mistake I made. I appreciate you checking out my video 😊
I’m not even half way through the video and I’m already loving the outcome! Also thank you for speaking up about gel polish safety, I applied my first set this weekend and I didn’t realise how dangerous the allergies were until I did a thorough research (which I really should have done before even though I was super careful), so I decided from now I will only be doing press ons using appropriate gloves, it’s not worth the risk ❤ love your channel!
Aw thank you so much, love! Yeah, I didn't know about the dangers of handling gel with bare hands until this last year, and I've been doing nails for years. It's nice that it's becoming more common knowledge. From my understanding, developing an allergy is somewhat rare, but it's still something avoidable that I'm not willing to risk. I appreciate you stopping by 😊
Absolutely beautiful, you're so talented hun and your work is well worth what you charge and even more. Tyfs, I enjoyed watching. Take care hun. 💜🦋
Thank you so much, Lore! I know I should charge my worth, I'm just someone who likes to save, especially in this economy, so I always feel bad charging high prices. I appreciate you watching though!
These are so adorable! Just stumbled on your channel and I'm so happy that I did 😍
Aw thank you so much, Jessica! I really appreciate the support, and welcome to my little community 😊
Awwww soooo cute ! Always love your videos
Thank you, Bella! For some reason UA-cam hid this comment, and I had to check my unpublished to see it 🫤
@@GetPressedNailsByC aww that sucks honey
so cool i love kirby!
Just a heads up, hema can get through any glove besides nitrile, try to only use gels with nitrile gloves for the safety. ❤️
Thank you so much for the info! I recommended nitrile because I know it's much more acetone resistant, but it makes sense that it would be HEMA resistant as well. Gel safety is so important ❤ I appreciate you watching my video amd taking the time to comment 🥰
These turned out so good!
Aw thank you so much! I really appreciate the compliment 🥰
Soooo cute 😍
Thank you so much for watching! I'm glad you liked the design 🥰
This set is gorgeous!! I am such a Kirby lover 😆 I've been wanting to do some Nintendo-inspired sets so badly- Kirby came out adorably!! I use Procreate for mine but I do have some handmade templates that I can always pop across if you'd like them 🤍
Aw, thank you so much! Kirby is my absolute favorite. The bf and I went to a Gatcha store at the mall yesterday and spent way too much to win a sleepy Kirby plush 😅 I'd love to see a Nintendo inspired set from you! Which is your favorite IP? And, thank you for the offer, I have some templates, I'm just being lazy 🤦♀️
@@GetPressedNailsByC I get you!! I'm the exact same, for some reason setting things up like new software and learning it always seems too much and makes me lazy 😂 I'm a massive Zelda fan! Definitely my favourite IP since I was young so it'd be lovely to do a set based off of it! In a way I'm grateful we don't have Gatcha stores close to me but we have those claw machines with Pokemon plushies at my local store and the self restraint it takes not to try and win myself an Eevee plush 😅
You would absolutely kill a Zelda themed set! I never played as a kid, but I watched my ex play Wind Waker, and it looked like a lot of fun. I love Eevee and want to eventually do an eevee evolutions set 🥰
Super cute set! I love them 🤗💚🤗💚
Thank you for watching, Barbie! Hope you're doing well 🥰
@@GetPressedNailsByC I am! Hope you are as well💋💚💋💚
❤❤❤
Thanks for watching, Toya 🥰
These are so freakin cute! I love Kirby 🥰 and I subscribe cause your voice is soothing and this is inspiring me for my own set! 🥰💙
Aw, thank you so much! I feel awkward hearing my own voice 😅 so I'm glad others like it 😊 Kirby is my favorite, and I hope you do make your own set ❤️
These are so cute!!! Yeah I'm never sure about pricing. I just shop around look for some similar and see what the majority charges
Thank you, Josie! It's hard because I see shops that I think are way undervaluing their sets, at least they are if they are putting the same amount of time I am. I appreciate you watching though and love your 3D work!
I learned the hard way on the gloves. I just got chemical resistant gloves today from Sam's Club. Thank you for mentioning this because I had a horrific reaction to gel getting on my skin :'(
Oh no, I'm so sorry to hear that, Lauren! I think the science is sort of just recently catching up with the nail community, and as much as I love that we can all do our nails at home now, it's definitely important that the info gets out there on how to safely apply products. I hope your hands are doing okay though and appreciate you checking out my video 🥰
Hi Cai💖 I started this video yesterday but got distracted (kids lol) these are so cute🤩🤩 Kirby is such a cute character😍 I definitely have a sweet tooth. I love cookies and ice cream🍪🍨🙈 I think your work is absolutely amazing and you use good quality products so I would charge $150 for this set🤗 thank you for sharing🥰🥰
Aw, thank you so much, Sondra! I really appreciate the feedback on pricing. I love making crazy nails, but then they're often hard for me to price. And yes, ice cream is one of my favorites too 🥰
you can always buy the embossing powder and get it to the texture you're looking for. Amazon sells a cheap and effective embossing powder. I would not pay Madam Glam prices
That's a good idea! I do like Madam Glam's since it is nonwipe, but I'll check out the embossing powder. Madam Glam is a bit on the pricier side, but for me at least if you can get a good discount I think it can be worth it. I know everyone is working with different budgets, though! Thank you for watching 🥰
Congrats on the Madam Glam PR!! I love their stuff!! These turned out super cuteeeee!!! 🩷🤍🩷 You're 3d aspects are on point! 🙌 I'd love to have you pick a design for my series soon like this leaning more Korean style! Sooo cute! 💖
Aw Boo! Thank you so much 🥰 I would love to pick a set for you to recreate! Should it be one I made or do I just send you an inspiration picture? I am planning on doing another 3D set soon. Maybe I could send you the same inspo photos and we could both give it a try? I think I have you on IG and can reach out there!
@@GetPressedNailsByC yeah, it can be something you've done or just want to see done! That would be fun for us both to give a design a go!!!! 🩷🩷 yayyyy! I'm excited!
@@BooCreamy I just messaged you on IG 😊 I'm so excited! ❤️
i have a samsung tablet and i use clip studio paint to draw out nail designs.
Ooh thanks for the tip! I'll have to check out how that one. Right now I have Ibis and Infinite Painter. I really just have to stop being lazy and set it up 😅
STUNNING SET 😍😍😍. You did an amazing job!!! I think you should charge a minimum of $135 because people go and get sets done that last a few weeks for more money and less art!! I love all sweets, cake, ice cream, brownies, cookies, muffins, girl everything 😂😂🤤🤤🤤. Beautiful set. Thanks for sharing 🩷🩷🩷
Aw thank you so much, Toi! You are always so kind 🥰 I really appreciate you, girl, and everyone else who is helping me be more confident about charging appropriately! And I feel you on the sweets; they're all my favs too 🤣
thank u about the glove tips😭 i have been wondering why my gel sticks on my glove 😭
Absolutely! I think it's important to talk about gel safety 🥰 Thanks for watching!
May i ask what video editor you use?
Absolutely! I use the free version of CapCut on a PC. There are bunches of tutorials for it online too! Thanks for watching 😊
@@GetPressedNailsByC thank you
Hi Cai❤❤
Thanks for catching the premiere, Marcy 🥰
Hi caí 💜 let’s go!
Thanks for joining the premiere, Jonna! I hope you got home safe 😊
where you get those brushes?😊
Thanks for watching! Do you mean the liner brushes? The white one is the long liner from Leafgel. I got it from Zillabeau zillabeau.com/products/gel-brush-liner-l-%E2%85%B1. The other shorter liner I don't have the exact link for. It was just part of a cheap 5 pack from Temu I think!
