For the blush effect, you can also take blooming gel, brush it on don’t cure and put a line down the middle of your nail with your choice of color and it works great I’ve tried it before

Maybe try using a large nail scrubbing brush to wipe nails off before top coat. I’ve started using one recently and it easily and quickly covers the nail surface with alcohol and gets into the crevices around nail charms.

Hello! I love your videos! There’s no difference between eyeshadow and pigment powder. If you look at you pallet you may find the disclaimer. Learned this. Some pallets have asterisk note on certain colors.

The flower on the pinky makes me think a bit of baby Demogorgon, sorry 😅 The green nail on the middle finger is my favourite but I still think you keep getting better every time. No harm in using sunscreen on your hands, but are you using a UV-LED lamp? This doesn't emit any UVB, which is the wavelength that causes tanning. They emit UV on a specific wavelength for curing gel, and don't cause tanning. (The wavelength can't be blocked by sunscreen.) Older lamps with fluorescents did cause tanning issues, but those are usually pro-level only for super fast curing. Most of the lamps available on the market are the UV-LED type. Also, the palettes for nails are usually pure mica and pigment because you aren't gonna use it on your eyes and don't really need slip to spread the pigment. So, you are correct about the difference - eyeshadows are eye safe and include other ingredients for staying power and slip. :) This set came out SO CUTE - very fem and soft, it was worth the extra time to get the technique right!! I am rubbish at creating my own nail art, but I put on some sakura flowers and small gems for April. ;)

@@AnneElizabethNails OK you are probably good then, especially if you bought it in the last few years. What you want to look for is 365nm-405nm wavelength for your lamp. Watts are just a measure of energy used to run the lamp, not the output/strength. I'm happy to share, glad you appreciate it, I'm always hesitant in case people take it bad, but you have such a sunny and genuine personality I figured you would love the knowledge like I do. I got into nails as a hobby but I used to be an esthetician, so the clinical stuff really appeals to me. Love your videos!

For the hard gel it’s because it was stored in a hot area and becomes soft. So thats why the first one was so sticky
