I fish the white river alot...I've seen and heard alot of strange things along the river ..once I seen a 300-400lb turtle ...lots of unexplained nosies after dark ... Few years ago I found several big three toed tracked coming from the water to a farm field ..but never a confirmed whitey ..loved the video❤

I knew a man who worked constructing a bridge over the white in Oil Trough in the late 70's. He said an old guy lived in a van on the shore and disappeared for a while. When he finally returned he said late one night he was outside and something huge heaved itself up out of the water and he decided maybe he'd try somewhere else for a while lol
Interesting...I grew up in Newport, My grandfather farmed there and I often went to the White River but never saw the monster. I heard about it all my life, I remember my mother telling me about it. There are actually Sturgeon in the White River...a prehistoric looking fish and they do get quite large...look up Sturgeon and see what they look like. Maybe "Whitie" is a an overgrown Sturgeon! Great Story!
I have a book of the greatest mysteries of the world and just yesterday I read about the monster of the white river. So J.K. Rowling add Whitey in her Harry Potter books. Interesting.
I grew up between Batesville and Newport. Spent many weekends on the river. Sometimes, we would put in at Batesville, run down to Bradford . Fished alot around the 7 11 farm on the river. Only monster i have ever seen. Sometimes, a mad cottonmouth trying to get in the boat!! 😂😂😂 Heard this story alot. Also heard several stories about bigfoot being seen around Oil Trough. But just stories!! 😂😂😂
