    I was born and raised in Sikeston, Mo. my dad worked at Noranda there in Nee Madrid. I never knew about nuclear reactors. Thank you for informing me. Well I don’t live in Sikeston anymore, I do live in Popper Bluff, which is just 45 minutes away. I follow you on TikTok and love your stories.

    My friends dad was a conductor on the ADN railroad that ran on those Crossett tracks. He let us ride in the locomotive. We never saw the light, but it was fun. Now we have a cabin north of Dover so we will have to hunt for it.

    In southwest Texas I sometimes saw inexplicable lights in the desert. A guy that was in his eighties and used to mine some told me that a certain bacteria caused a reaction in the chemistry of some rocks sometimes producing a very faint desert light. He also said some were simple reflections bouncing from objects such as minerals . After attending collage and majoring in engineering I have never confirmed his theory of a biological cause, but as an electrical engineering major I can only look for research of others on this subject. Have you any knowledge of such phenomenon?

    I believe in the Crossett lights. My youngest daughter had me go quite often and nothing happened till one night it came down the road much brighter than headlights and went out in front of my car. I've never been so terrified in my life and I've never went back. My theory is; ...in German belief there are guardians who protect treasure that are lights.

    I heard you mention Arkansas again a few times in this video. My first question would be, “how far away is this from the 33rd parallel of the earth?”

  • @docgalt2801
    @docgalt2801 Місяць тому

    I’ve seen some very strange things in my life. I’ve never seen a Bigfoot. I’m not saying they do not exist. Maybe I don’t live in their area.

    I am a new subscriber to your channel. I have never been to this location… but… you did mention Arkansas. The significance of Arkansas if this. Anything near the 33rd parallel of the earth is a special place. I do not mean this in a good way. I would approach anything near the 33rd parallel with respect and reverence. Whatever you find there, I would recommend leaving it there.

    I grew up living in that house, my grandparents bought it when I was a teenager. I can go straight to where I slept in that house, blindfolded. Sets behind White’s Funeral Home. The address is 501 North East First Street Miserable Gulch, Texas. Still got the drivers license and my initial enlistment contract tucked away with that address on it. I heard that most or all of the re-modeling that we did to the interior has been ripped back out to make it look “spooky”. It overlooks East and West Hubbard. There used to be a Dairy Twin ( I think that’s what it was called ) over on the other side of the bank that sat between East and West Hubbard. Best Burgers and Shakes in town back then. I slept in that house through some Very hot summers and some Very cold winters. Lots of memories for me there.

    I have visited the cave many times with my family. It’s worth the visit. There are some lovely and interesting speleothems. It is that unusual in Missouri because a lot of it is a dry cave. It’s a must see if you are in Hannibal. Enjoy!

    Maybe this is why all the caves here are closed. I just went to devils den and all the caves were shut down due to “bat reasons” but I don’t know y’all, might be cause of monsters. Just a thought lol

    That girl hitchhiker is found along Lowrance Curve around Landmark. Which isn't too terribly far from Woodson Lateral. My grandmother talked to a trucker who saw her back in the 50s. Lowrance Curve is no longer there, it's been redone. We called it headless woman's curve when I was a kid.

    I grew up between Batesville and Newport. Spent many weekends on the river. Sometimes, we would put in at Batesville, run down to Bradford . Fished alot around the 7 11 farm on the river. Only monster i have ever seen. Sometimes, a mad cottonmouth trying to get in the boat!! 😂😂😂 Heard this story alot. Also heard several stories about bigfoot being seen around Oil Trough. But just stories!! 😂😂😂

    Thanks for the video. I've driven I-29 in Missouri, but Nodaway County doesn't extend that far west. The killing in Skidmore is unusual. Most of the rest of the crimes seem routine. All kinds of little towns have a few murders over the years.
