Raised in both a Polish Catholic household and by grandparents who were Swiss/German Apostolics and Evangelical Free..sang Christian contemporary throughout my early life.
I'm a death and black metal musician now..
Much respect for your stellar work, I banged my head to this man.
That's the problem. He didn't praise God even once, much less sing THE SONG HE WAS COVERING, that's too much to ask for from Christians these days.
He praised himself by showing off his metal skills, he didn't praise God.

I'm not a Christian anymore, in fact, I gave up "faith" altogether. However, this is a song I grew up on, and finding a metal version of it without lyrics (this very version), had me nodding. Good job!

So our belief that Christianity is a relationship with Christ is still by definition a religion. It’s not religion itself that’s the issue but bad religion, that is by definition bad personal or institutional attitudes, belief and practices. Bad religion is caused by a lack of understanding and a shallow faith built only a lot of times on a Bible verse rather than The Bible in its entirety from start to finish.
