As far as I heard that Shankar stopped giving music after JaiKishan passed away.
While the songs of Sanyasi were melodious, the music was exemplary wonderful, the voices of Mukesh and Lata were sensationalising and wavering above the music. Lyrics were outstanding. Quite similar to the Songs of SARGAM !

SJ के युग की समाप्ति 1965 के बाद से ही होने लगी थी। 1969 के बाद तो उनके संगीत का जादू लगभग पूरा ही उतर चुका था।

Their was an understanding between Shankarji and Jaikishanji that they will never tell who among them composed any song and will be their own secret...but during an interview Jaikishan told that " ye mera prem patra padh kar" was his tune. This enraged Shankarji and their was an argument between them and stopped talking to each other...very soon after that Jaikishanji died. So was their rein in Hindi film industry...very sad end of this Music Director duos rule over Bollywood.
This is utter nonsense! Jaikishan never revealed anything. All stories about a non existent rift between them started to circulate after their death by those who were jealous of their super success and popularity. That was no one dare talk about them while they were alive.

See i am also SJ fan , but whatever happened did happen. Even Raj Kapoor tried to bring them together. But Jaikishans untimely demise end ed their career. After Jaikishan's death Shankar made music for "Sanyasi"..and still used the same name ( Music director SJ ) for this film as a tribute to his friend / partner Jaikishan. You can check this.
@@Dhan- , when Shankar and Jaikishan formed their illustrious Shankar Jaikishan banner, they made a pact that they would work all their lives under that banner and if one died before the other, the survivor would continue under the same banner. Also, they decided that they would never reveal their individual contribution to any song as every song would be an SJ song. They lived by the pact until their death. As their fans, we need to respect that and should not try to give credit to either one of them. Whatever you heard about a rift between the two is untrue. By the way, I would like to know who what makes you say that Raj Kapoor tried to bring them together as if the actor revealed it to you. Please do not believe heresy and what you read on the internet or print media as it is all fiction without an ounce of truth in it.

१९६५ के बाद शंकर जयकिशनजीने एकही नामसे मगर अलग अलग संगित देना शुरु किया. सुरज और गुमनाम का संगीत शंकर सिंग रघुवंशीने अलग दिया है और आम्रपालीका संगीत जयकिशन पांचाल साहाबने दिया था. शंकर जयकिशन का झगडा, रफीसाहाब- लता मंगेशकरजीका झगडा, आरके बॕनरतले दिलीप कुमारका काम न करना , इन सभी ईगो झगडोंमे नुकसान बेचारे रसिक दर्शक भाईयोंका हुआ.

Shardaji is a great singer. Shankaraji should not use her voice 100 percent. Lata shoud be given her share by Shankarji. After 1975 may be due to absence of talented assistant like SEBASTIANJI, lost the shining. DO JHOOT of SHANLARJI was also a great hit.

जयकिशन जी के गुजर जाने के बाद शंकर जी ने अकेले ने ही कुछ 47 फिल्म मे संगीत दिया। उस दौर की competition को देखते हुए बहुत ज्यादा थी। नाम भी शंकर जयकिशन ही रक्खा । ऐसा भी सुनने आया था की फिल्म की फीस मे से कुछ रक्कम वह जयकिशन की पत्नी को पहुंचाते थे। शंकर जी दिल के बड़े ही भले आदमी थे। शंकर जयकिशन जैसा न कोई हुवा न आगे कोई होगा।

It looks like you have cooked up a lot of fictitious stories about Shankar Jaikishan. For your information, after Jaikishan's demise, Shankar was still in demand and worked for sixteen more years. I would like to know who told you that Jaikishan wasn't in favor of Sharda. Sohanlal Kanwar was an SJ loyalist. Hence, he continued to work with Shankar in eight more movies until the latter's death. Also, he allowed Shankar to make all decisions regarding the singers and never interfered with his work. I would like to know on what basis you have said all the nonsense in your video. I happen to know Sohanlal Kanwar's wife and daughters personally and they would never agree with you.
