I've got a 1990 dodge 150. I got passed down from my great grandpa. It took a year to get it fixed up and drivable again but I love the looks I get when people see a 22 year old driving a 32 year old truck.
We used to have a 97 Dakota with over 300,000 miles, I dedicate this song to her. Had every problem known to man but still managed to start every morning and get you where you needed to go. Even after an oak tree fell on her she still started😂
Right, always been a believer that you should always take care of the mechanical side of the truck well before fixing any cosmetic details, who cares about several 1ft rust holes and holes in the floor pan when you have the most reliable engine and mechanics in the truck 😂 seriously though mechanics of car running right and good is far more important than looks
You've never driven my shitbox in the winter 🥶 No rear brakes, so it's a beast in the summer, but soon as it rains or snows, things a deathtrap lol. Only have front brakes, throttle sticks, so I'm doing burnouts whenever I stop, even on dry concrete 🤣 But it was my brother's truck (he passed in 2019) so I'ma never get rid of it, it might make me meet my brother sooner than planned BUT, I'ma still bend corners in it like it's a Caddy on 22s lololol
Got a 95 dodge half ton 4x4. 310k miles. Every detail of this song is true to it lol. There's not a light lense in it or straight inch of body on it. Starts every time and takes me all over the farm everyday. Dodge rules
My 1985 d250 just took me from Texas to Wisconsin. 1300 miles. Twice my age at almost 40 years old and only been revived since this winter. Sat for 10 years and the inside of the engine rusted bad due to coolant mixing amongst other pretty bad neglect. Survived multiple overheating and running low on trans fluid. I owe this thing a lot 😂
Makes me think of the 97 Dakota we had, had a ton of problems but that 318 never would die. Was gonna be mine till an oak tree fell on it and split it in half damn near and even then that 318 still fired up.
Got a 99 with a 318...it drinks gas and the trans is slipping from the previous owner but shes an A to B, put annyslip and changed the trans filter and fluids. Drinks like a Saylor but she starts every time.
Just got a 1988 dodge B150 the other day. She runs like a top but the brakes barely work and the starter sometimes wants to work. But I love the thing.
I love mine too! I have a 98 dodge ram 1500 with 279,500 miles, still going so far so good! My dad keeps nagging for me to get rid of it but I don't want to.
Yep I got a 99 Ram 1500 with 423,856 miles. The body's pretty much gone, and the frame is paper thin. It leaks everything from oil to gas. But I'll never get rid of her, she's never once let me down
My 93 w250 might have more problems than anyone can count but she still starts everytime and runs just fine for i wouldn't trade it for any other truck
I have a 87 d150 little rusty tailgate missing cracked windshield heater blower is hooked up to a toggle switch due to the hack job the last owner did but I love my truck
got me a dodge truck fallin apart got 4 bad tires and she's hard to start and when the weathers below 32 the muffler sounds like a bubblin stew blinkers broke so i can't turn right and the drivers window is locked up tight so if you drive behind my truck when i go to turn i wish ya luck radios broke but the tape decks fine i don't have cassettes i live in modern times and the only cd stuck in my truck is the bare naked lady's and the men they suck and the 4wd is stuck on high i can't drive above 35 and my spare is flat back bumper gone and my gas light is always on dash board covered in magazines center console won't open ?? no trunk and the hood won't close if your in the back better hold your nose don't touch anything look straight ahead there's something under the seat that smells like it's dead if you touch the handle and your hand gets stuck that's how you know your in my truck
got 99 ram drivers door has to be held closed with ratchet strap starts hard but that's cuz of gas leak got 360 in it runs strong will tow or haul anything love the truck wouldn't dream of selling it fuck chevy and ford
m4hobby i have a 1984 Chevrolet c 20 350 CID long block automatic 4 barrel carb starts on first try, and is faster than a speeding bullet (metaphorically). the best trucks are chevys

Who cares how beat up a truck is. If it gets you there it's good!
Cant agree better
As long is gets you there. Not back. No one has to go back, right?
@@randomprojectsusa5196 never have to get back if you're always going somewhere

Every time I miss my truck I play this song. Thanks for posting it. Dont ever take it down.
I love this song too. My first truck was a 30 year old junker with a stick shift. I loved that old truck even with it's problems.

My Dodge, all of the above, but as soon as I needed it for something, it always worked.
Built on a work horse chassis.
I have a 98 dodge ram 1500 with 279K miles
Love my 93 d150 and all her problems but I've got eyes for a 1972 F100.
My 93' d150 may not be powerful but she sure as hell is strong. I've put her through hell and she always returns the favor.
Well.....she's dead, the truck I loved and commented about is now sitting at a junk yard. Let my brother drive her and he crashed her
@@badpilot2 thats why I'll never let anyone drive my cars other than my pops because I know he'll respect it

Just got a 1988 dodge B150 the other day. She runs like a top but the brakes barely work and the starter sometimes wants to work. But I love the thing.

My dad had a Dodge like this. Then it caught fire one day. Now it's scrapped
Older things are built to last. Technology may benefit us in some ways but all that wiring just adds more things to go wrong!
I hope I can keep my 2014 dodge charger For Decades like your guys' old trucks so I can sing this song about her
My 93 w250 might have more problems than anyone can count but she still starts everytime and runs just fine for i wouldn't trade it for any other truck
