How do Payments work in Iceland?

Do they all accept payments from a travel payment card. I’m from England going Reykjavik next month. Hays Travel have recommended us a Travel Debit Card to put money on put take sone cash to pay City Tax at our Hotel.

Not sure what a travel payment card is, but any international credit/debit from visa/master should do fine

I never even saw any cash in Iceland. I just paid for everything by card… or I could have used my phone.
