I like that you are brief and get directly to the point. Most blogs drag on about the history of a particular design and what was going on in society at the time of the mintage. I fast-forward through those.
I don't know what a M circled with a loop of circles is doing on my 100$ Bill. But it's on the back of the bill, to the left, inside the white oval shaped section.. it's not on any of my other bills, (100), and the ink matches perfectly to the bill.
I found the large bills to be very interesting. There are so many varieties. I never knew of the existence of large bills till I saw some of your videos. Some go way back in time, I wouldn’t have known this if I hadn’t subscribed to your channel. Thanks so much for the show n tell.
Love your channel. Will you ever do a video on how to tell if a difference in notes makes it worth anything? I have notes whose left serial number is a bit more to the left than others. I also have several notes whose green seal ranges from its top edge being higher than the printed denomination to even with to well above. All are the same denomination. Which is right, how to find out, how to find out if they are they worth any extra? I have a note whose both serial numbers have high and low bottom levels. Like a car odometer, but not just the last digit (6 or 7 digits are shifted) Sometimes us newer people do not know what to call the error in our ebay value searches. The titles have so many abbreviations, it's crazy. These are the things that a video on would be super. I know I would save it and watch it several times over. I used to collect coins and some red and blue seal notes in the late 60's, but things have changed so much since then.
I'm sorry to see no-one has offered any help . As an expert on this subject myself🙄,I can say this: The serial numbers that are misaligned are called "Odometer notes" and a premium depends on severity . The numbers are printed at the same time as the Treasury seal, so either of those coupled with "Misaligned" Might be used. Remember this: The value of most printing errors depends on how impactful it is. With exceptions. The best advice I can give you is get some books on the subject(any you can find, actually) and become familiar with the hobby. People who know these things do so because we LOVE the art and history you can hold and keep. You have an interest. Let it grow 😊
I have a fancy serial number 2009 $100 bill. However, someone wrote on it! As well I have the 1934 $100 bill similar to the one you showed here but it is definitely circulated.
Just found a 1928 A 100.00 bill in an old bank payment book. Quality not the best. It was folded at one time but had been flat since 1944. Could it be worth anything?
My opinion to all collector, the most is knowledge about 1st how perfectly to the design decision or 2nd any mistaking in mint making. Those 2 are the most dictation on collector demand.
I have been investing in stocks for over 10 years now and I have made a lot of money. My portfolio has grown exponentially and I can't thank stocks & ROCHELLE DUNGCA-SCHREIBER enough for such an amazing way to make money!
I have. $100:00 bill. 2009 LB04200284L. On the back of the bill on the bottom left hand corner there is a stamped PS plus looks like like some kind of a mark maybe. Adorable C. Is this a valuable bill?
What a coincidence , i also work with him ..Denis Mark gave me everything I needed and the perfect basis to begin trading. I value his stand on minimizing risk because this is something I haven't seen on other website and tutorials. greetings from UK
You just make the best videos ever. Thank you for that. Am I to misunderstand the arrows that are on star look up being a way of finding out if your note is rare? I was told if both arrows are far to the left then that means it is not rare. So I always look for that two arrows. Am I right to be doing that as a way of finding out if that’s rare? Does anybody know?
I wish to correct your comments on the Confederate States of America bill with a blank back, with long-hand (cursive aka chirography) was written with a flex dip pen nib. The fountain pen does NOT have the crisp lines made by the author's pen. The browning is from oxidation of Iron Gal Ink.
Does anyone know if a 100 dollar bill with serial # 00000031 . In very good condition put it on ebay was offer 200 dollars within 30 seconds but dont wanna sell myself short.
Just for your information any gold or silver certificates were priced in their weight you could purchase the face value in gold as gold and back when most of these gold certificates were printed I think the latest one was 1923 it was about $35 an ounce for gold at the most in 1874 it was $20 an ounce $20 in change though you must remember that the value was to the value of gold at the time of print so the value of a certificate that is a gold or silver certificate should never be sold for anything less than the weight value of gold at this time where an ounce was $20 back then if it's a $20 Note gold certificate that means it's worth an ounce that means today it's still worth an ounce because it's worth the ounce of when it was printed not the ounce of when you're purchasing it so never if it's worth an ounce never sell it for less than two grand you know just keep that in mind when you're selling your certificates gold and silver certificates
Very interesting video. Thank you. But could you just show both sides of the bills on one image. Cutting and zooming back and forth gave me the same sensation sea sickness gives me. I had to stop looking at the screen because my stomach was getting upset. Since you were mostly talking about the fronts of bills how about putting a large image of the fronts on the screen and put a small picture of the back of the bills below it? Side story: I had a dollar bill with 6 twos in the serial number. I kept it for years and won a ton of money playing liars poker. Sadly, when I was playing baseball I gave my wallet to a friend and they must’ve put it on the bleachers and someone stole it.

I have a 100 dollar bill with an ink spot in the middle of his head and a unique number. How can I find out how much it's worth?
4s mean "dead" when said in Chinese. And 8s is viewed as infinite (turning the 8 on its side).

Hi Old Money Prices! I've subscribed to your channel! Nice video content! 😎
Are the 2017 Philadelphia Mint worth anything? The P doesn't usually appear on the penny, it does on the 2017 pennies.
Only bank tellers and people who work in casinos are going to find bills in the 50s nobody's going to find an unusual-looking in normal cash.
Funny you said this cause I found one and I looked up on what it is
I got one $100 bill with a star after serial number and it’s 1 at the bottom of the bill and it’s F3. Could this one be a rare one?
