That is the problem with it, there copying all of shinkenger to the point where it should make sense in Japan but in America it doesn’t make sense so many times and shinkenger is actually a top 3 super sentai but power rangers ruined it by not trying to make there own ideas. I’m also talking about jaden because he just was like shinkenger red but they made his story a little bit to onward and just made him good leader, bad leader while tekeru the red shinkenger had to get used to his team and had to backfire it when his story and Juzo Fuwa who is dekers counterpart was waiting for the right time to fight him and was learning tekeru rather than just wanting to fight

Anyone with eyes can see pr samurai was screneshot. The one of the biggest hint is the rocks. If you look at the rocks their laying on, their dark gray. But when the change the scene to the original one with a voice over, the rocks are white. Then when they change back to their actors, the rocks are dark gray again

Samurai may be a copy paste job but you really have to give credit to the voice acting and the blending of US and Japanese Footage. After all it is made with a shoestring budget. If they are given the budget they can be 10 times better and there are actually many things PR does well
Power Rangers: "That was the Legendary Sheath Slash maneuver" That is such a white people thing to say. The technique has an actual name and it's called Iai with a capital "I". Even when copy and pasting Shinkenger, Saban still failed at it.
It is a very interesting game to play with power rangers. How would you change the dialogue in this scene. For example what i would have done to explain it is similar to takeru. Say the actual sword slashing style, and that compared to regular swordmanship it cuts much faster.

Calling it "Sheath Slash Maneuver" is dumbing it down for people that the producers assume are too stupid to understand. To replace a term (Iai) that comes with its OWN explanation with a term (Sheath Slash Maneuver) that is "easier" to understand insults the intelligence of even children because the former is LITERALLY self-explanatory.

I will give credit to PR samurai, the additional armor does look like Samurai armor. I don't mind the Shinkengers not wearing stuff like that, but as a powered up form it's perfect. The new helmets are unnecessary shit though, and Gold Shinkenger looks like MEGA ASS without his blue color in PR Samurai. Honestly you'd think that Nick would have kept MORE of the Japanese references and props since the theme of the show is inherently Japanese. But like Goseigers, MUH KIDS DON'T NEED CULTURE.

One day while training, he found a broken phone and figured he could talk to Octozord via texting, so he designed a Morpher. It doesn't say how exactly he made it work, but it's a combination of him being really good with tech and assuming he somehow got help from the Octozord and his own symbol power.

The toys make this apparently, though that's Bandai's fault for pushing the designs to not be Gattai optimized in the first place. That's been an issue for several Sentai for a few years now, though. Matthew's Corner I think other think they characters are played well/are more memorable in Shinkenger. One example is the Jayden vs Decker / Takeru vs Juuzo first duel. It may be done the same, but shinkenger is a lot more emotional. I think another reason why people like Shinkenger so much is because it isnt PG. same example above, decker/juuzo loses the duel, but Juuzo falls off the cliff while Decker turns into a ghost You said you wanted detail so ill try my best. Talking during the fight is kept to the minimum. All scene are kept in the “Show dont tell” quality and tension is kept. Another detail is acting/consistentcy. When Red wound his shoulder during Decker’s duel, ShinkenRed is shown to be in more pain and holds his shoulder where he was stabbed. However, Jayden doesnt convey he was very hurt, and holds his hand instead of his shoulder.

Remember, the first-ever female Red Ranger in Power Rangers history was Charlie/SPD A-Squad Red Ranger from Power Rangers SPD, yet, she was also evil. Where as with Lauren, she's the secondary female Red Ranger. And let me tell you something right here and now....Lauren truly deserves better than how the other Samurai rangers treated near the end of Samurai. Seriously!!! She deserved better as a character. And, I have no intention of ever bringing up Clash of the Red Rangers ever again!!! I have my reasons why.

No, power rangers uses the sentai footage and shoots new footage in locations that look as close as possible as the Japanese footage.

Xaviergray87 Shinkenger's mecha are kind of awful across the board, though. The toys make this apparently, though that's Bandai's fault for pushing the designs to not be Gattai optimized in the first place. That's been an issue for several Sentai for a few years now, though.
Dammit I miss shit like Ohranger, Megaranger, Timeranger and GoGoV that look good in ALL forms.

Xaviergray87 I watched gobusters, skipped kyoryuger watched toqger and maybe I will watch ninninger after it ends like I did with toqger. And yes megaranger, ohranger and gogov are great, even though I saw just a few episodes of the last 2 as I haven't found them subbed.

Me?! I thought it was alright, but, I just wished that they had done more on the actual plot during the second half. That, and I really didn't like the "weak points" of Hiromu and Youko in the show. But, I did like the characters of Ryuuji, Gorisaki and Escape.
Xaviergray87 It's not bad, but it could have been better. I liked better gokaiger, I remember waiting anxiously for the next episode, thing that didn't happen on gobusters. So it's watchable, but not that great. If you want to watch some good sentai go with liveman, or megaranger, wich are subbed. If you know japanese then go with gogov, that seems interesting

The main characters, at least. Mentor Ji has his annoying moments and I couldn't stand the two comic relief characters.
Matthew's Corner I think other think they characters are played well/are more memorable in Shinkenger.
One example is the Jayden vs Decker / Takeru vs Juuzo first duel. It may be done the same, but shinkenger is a lot more emotional.
I think another reason why people like Shinkenger so much is because it isnt PG. same example above, decker/juuzo loses the duel, but Juuzo falls off the cliff while Decker turns into a ghost

Talking during the fight is kept to the minimum. All scene are kept in the “Show dont tell” quality and tension is kept. Another detail is acting/consistentcy. When Red wound his shoulder during Decker’s duel, ShinkenRed is shown to be in more pain and holds his shoulder where he was stabbed. However, Jayden doesnt convey he was very hurt, and holds his hand instead of his shoulder.
First of all it is because power rangers just spoiled Super Sentai by trying to make a teenager show into child show and go and watch Super Sentai first and understand it yourself

I apologize for my outburst. But, I am dead serious about this situation and quite frankly, I am so glad that Haim Saban fired Jonathan Tzachor after Super Megaforce and got Judd Lynn back into the franchise by handling Dino Charge.

Michelet Dickenson Well, I wouldn't say that Samurai had the best storylines, but the only redeeming factor that it had were the changes that were made for Dayu and Juuzou's backstory from Shurikenger into Dayu and Deker's backstories and of course...the character of Lauren, the first-ever good female Red Ranger in Power Rangers history. Remember, the first-ever female Red Ranger in Power Rangers history was Charlie/SPD A-Squad Red Ranger from Power Rangers SPD, yet, she was also evil. Where as with Lauren, she's the secondary female Red Ranger. And let me tell you something right here and now....Lauren truly deserves better than how the other Samurai rangers treated near the end of Samurai. Seriously!!! She deserved better as a character. And, I have no intention of ever bringing up Clash of the Red Rangers ever again!!! I have my reasons why.
