Greetings from WINDY Nebraska. Our 2 sons narrowly escaped terrible tornados near their homes last Friday. Prayers are appreciated for the many residents in Elkhorn, NE that lost their homes; over 150 homes lost. There is so much devastation. In positive news, I always enjoy seeing your children. Oaklynn always seems willing to help with the baking! I definitely will try the Smash tacos and the bars! Your video makes my day! God bless you and your family!

The smash burgers were an eye opener for me I thought they would be more complicated but u simplified it for me. Loved the two sisters and the magic word. When u were making taco like flatbread was that bottle a special kind of vinegar it went by fast and I couldn’t read bottle completely. Thank u again for sharing.

That shade of pink is beautiful on you. I think I heard you say recently that you are a winter, and I was "diagnosed" as a dynamic winter years ago. I received small fabric swatches with my consultation and I still have them 30 years later. Most colors were what I already gravitated toward (except the pastels). It was also interesting to see the few colors that everybody looks good in, and my consultant said those are good colors for brides to choose for bridesmaid dresses as all their attendants will then look good.
I made the smash tacos on the taco size, not the mini size, flour tortillas. The first one I did as the recipe says, flipping it over, but I did not like the amount of grease that was then on the shell. It was perfectly fine to let the meat warm up the other shells.

We have been loving smash tacos for a while now!! 😍😍I will say one thing that really elevates them is if you mix up your burger with some seasonings, an egg, oatmeal, etc.

I loved the burger idea will be trying that and I make my own sourdough tortillas so I think they could fry with the burger. Yes!! once I started making sourdough bagels (and bread!) I’ve never looked back so yummy.

I have that cheese grater, I love it. The you tube channel called moss family TV- she makes those burger wraps often. And uses the same cheese grater lol
Hi Lynette, I’m going to try that cheese grater. I’ve always done it the old fashioned way by hand-not my favorite task. I showed it to my husband and he said to get it. I think because sometimes I ask if he would shred the cheese for me!!!

The little hand chopper was pretty neat! Can you link that? A little tip: if you rub mint toothpaste on your fingers/hands then wash with soap, it'll take all the onion smell right off! I keep a little travel tube in my kitchen drawer.. has to be 'mint'! The potatoes looked yummy, love potatoes!😋 Definitely need to give the tacos a try, everyone here loves tacos, and McD's lol😄 Thanks for the recipes, enjoyed the video!

The dust seasoning is the bomb... Can you advise name of seasoning just in case i am missing one. Ps that brand seasoning is so so good

Have to try those Big Mac tortillas. Lynette, can you do me a big favor and try something with a RAW tortilla? I use Tortillas land brand. Tortillas have to be raw. Get tortilla out of fridge an hour prior to cooking. Shred a couple of onions and mix with a ground beef ( 1 lb beef I add 2-3 medium onions, the more the better, add salt and black pepper to taste, few cumin seeds if desired). Add a little water to bring it to a thick paste consistency. Spread a thin layer to a half of tortilla, leaving some room at the edges to seal it. You will have like a large empanadas shape. I’m using little water to seal the edges. Pan fry with less than 1/2 inch of any oil 3-4 minutes on each side. My personal favorites is to bake them at 375-380 F oven for 20 min, brush them with egg prior to backing. It’s amazing. It’s kind of a dupe on original chebureki recepe, but much easier way to prepare. You may end up with a viral video yourself 👍🌺🌼🌸
